-The Kami Fighter

Sitting on a stone, helm in front of him, while whistling a joyess tune the Fyros was waiting. Waiting of the foragers to give the earned materials from the Old Lands to the Sanctuary Kamis. And then wait some more for those same foragers to start crafting the refined stuff into parts of the structure.
For the fighter that was neither here nor there, he keeps himself occupied by wetting his double edged sword with a sand stone. Or polising up the heavy duty armour on him. He listens to the exiting babbling of the foragers and crafters, have they just build another step? Made a wee bit more progress. The fighter doesn’t know, and somehow doesn’t care to much.
Soon they won’t be babbling anymore. Soon they will march behind him. Staring at his back, depending on him and his fellow fighters to make sure the forage place is safe.

Soon……

-The Karavan Mage

“Twice already I have healed you! Twice! By Jena’s voice, take better care of those sources!” the magician scolded the lazy foragers. Apoligizing the foragers got back to what they do best, foraging while she was again on the watch out. True, a few fighters were also looking out for incoming, but what could they do?
Her heals, her spells, her power and that of the other mages standing guard, those would mean the difference between winning and losing on the field today. And tomorrow, and the day after.
Restless she scans the edge of the cliffs and notes that the foragers are getting abit more restless, are they feeling something she isn’t through the ground of Atys? Soon the Kami will come again she knows. Soon her spells will fly around and magic will fill the air.

Soon…….

-The Kami Crafter

Sighing the Zoraï sat down. “Again nothing?” he asked as the crafter master shook his head apoligizing. And with another sigh she started to walk up and down. “What could be taking them so long? Did something go wrong?” She asked the question to thin air, expression her concern.
The Kamis nearby followed her movement with there eyes. Noticing this she adressed the Spirits “I know! I know, I should meditate. Use my time usefull instead of worrying. What will come will come, but still..” She looked hopefull to the city.
And hope grew in her, is that a weary figure moving towards the building sight? Soon she knows they will come, showing victorious postures with bag piling out. Or defeated ones with almost nothing. Soon she can do what she does best again.

Soon…….

-The Karavan Forager

Under the burning sun in the Old Lands stands a stone. The stone itself is unimportant, only a small Tryker has taken refuge behind it for now. While peeking from behind the stone he saw one of many battles of the Karavan and Kami forces. And saw them all wiped out by Kinchers.
But while the Kinchers were busy the Tryker took the chance and ran. Another stone, another safe haven. Only a few more stones to go he knew. Then, like those that ran the obstacle course of Kamis and Kinchers before him, he can forage at peace. Filling his bag with all things shiny and dandy.
There an opening! Another sprint and another save. Aah, the joys of being small and fast. Soon he will be there. At his place of shells. Soon he will have a nice full bag of material. Soon the crafters will compliment him again with the founding he made.

Soon…….

-The Karavan and Kami

They are standing on opposing cliffs. Each watched the other. Each distrusting the other. Each trying to find a weakness, an advantage. For now the only weakness and strenght they both have found are the Homins themselves.
The Karavan holds there secrets closely guarded. Trying to figure out the sap, the planet and eventually the secret of control. Of the power the Homins wield. The Kami magics that opposize them. For there are other danger out there. Dangers the Kami don’t see, dangers the Homins can’t imagen.
The Kami waits and watches. Feeling Atys all around him, living and at the same time dying in the continious struggle that is the Living Planets life cycle. Atys is all they hold dear, all they need, and all they are fighting for. The Karavan must be stopped. Atys must be safe. There is no other way the Kami can see.
Both know a time of struggle for control has started when the first Homin set foot on Atys. Both are willing to go to the end. Soon both will know.
