back on topic....

An unmolested harvester can get way more hon points than a fighter, that is the compensation of a protected harvester. i can carry some 400 mats in AD, if free to dig the ambers that is a haul of 4 x 3200, or 12,800 pt in 35-40 mins, a 'clean solo kill will get me 208 pts so to equal my harvest output i have to kill 61+ players solo in 35-40 mins.

related to that, one could argue that the rp auguement of not to kill the harvesters, is mechanically exploiting the honour point system (akin to lvling xp with no risk). As in the normal ebb and flow of battle 40 - 100 mats is a good yield thus balanced to the fighter expectations.

I'm of the mind that dig / craft should garner more honor points than the fighting... as it is the creation of the temples that is the goal ... the PvP just facilitates the end goal.

I can't think of any simpler explanation than this about the differential in honor point accumulation....

I agree with Brithlem here.

Digging/crafting should be worth more honour then killing other homins.
Not only because actually getting those mats back to the Temple/Sanctuary is the goal, but because fighting is plainly the easy round.

I can hear the arguments comming up that this isn't true, but as forager I have not yet left the Paranoid zone with a full bag. Simply because there is to much to worry about, aggressive Kincher, Kipesta, and on top of that other Homins.

Note of the author:
To me the FvF zone is one where people are... need to be more watchfull (aka paranoid) about who's comming to them. That light blue dot can be a friend. It also can be a friendly forager, but as it usually isn't friendy foragers get blown up just in case they aren't. Don't trust your paranoia! :D
