Well, since I'm neutral in the kami/kara conflict, I wouldn't like to help either side.

It quite often ties in that neutrals are against pvp as well, since the usual reason for pvp in this game is centred around kami/kara conflict.

Think of neutrals as "the red cross"....there on a humantarian mission with no opinion on why either side went to war......give negative honor points for killing them...one problem solved.

With 90% of the deaths from war / terrorism in earh's history having a religious reason behind them, it shoold not be hard to understand not seeing any sense fighting over what invisible man / woman in the sky you belive in.

Neutrals could build a monument to the UNITING of people against the kitin. The lore includes a description of the 4 races and the weapons they use. Let the nuetrals build monuments to the heroes of the past who set aside silly gods and worked together to accomplish the saving of homin life on the planet. The lore includes descriptions of the 4 weapons special to each race. Let neutrals build monuments to these heroes of the past where each used one of the 4 weapons. Individuals could come and have the special weopons "charged by the spirit" of these long dead heroes which would give theme extra powers and abilities.

Of course this makes no sense unless you give neutrals an opportunity to gain honor points without sacrificing the beliefs. In the current conflict, neutrals could defend either side from kitin, heal peeps from kitin death but not particpate in the PvP.

Of course, since you can't heal both sides, a pure neutral wouldn't heal either side, thus placing them completely outside the event with the current system.

The main problem I think is not nutrality, or the lack thereoff, but the total inability for different factions to work together in a FvF setting which may be solved by simply implementing this

just an aside: elias tryton is not a force, he is not appreciated by the kami nor the karavan, but instead hunted by them. all he can do is act in the shadows and put ideas in the homin's heads.

I was neutral well before I ever heard of Elias Tryton. Judging by his simplistic and, quite frankly, idiotic solution to a complicated problem (that of remaining neutral while participating in a story which does not accommodate neutrals) he has no idea himself of how to remain neutral.

He helped teleport many homin away during the swarming. Which implies he also has access to karavan/kami tech.

yes, he can teleport a few homins, but aside from that and certain knowledge he hasn't shown himself as having ANY powers, just think of his lieutenants...

If you follow Elias Tryton are you still neutral? Is he not one of three factions that can be followed? He may not be a God but he still has an agenda.

*looks at event*

Apparently no, he isn't a faction and there aren't three (or more) ways.

Not that he was that impressive with his speech and option for neutrals...
