I don't think that any digger would set foot in the Kami Karavan warzone if there was a FvF free area.

I know I wouldn't

I thought about that the day the event went live... But it's actually posible, it just requires a little of imagination and some coding. I'm sure the codding part is what's stopping the devs from doing something about it. After all they're a small team, I'm sure they're working around the clock to complete all the proyects they have going on right now.

Anyways, if there was to be a Neutral Faction the easy way to go about is to give homins an incentive to follow one of the gods. The best one I can't think of is power. If you are Neutral you can be part of the activities, but there is no reward other then building the temples (And probably missions and content that allow the neutral homins to bring peace to Atys). If you follow either the Kami or the Karavan you can pick new powers/FX-auras/equipment/knowlege... Things that can only be use if you meet a level... If you choose to stop following say Kami and become a Neutral or a Karavan then you loose the powers/FX-Auras/knowledge/equipment according to your Fame.

The higher your honor level, the better your rewards are... You are Neutral? Then quoting the Sout Nazi: "No soup for you!"

"But that's unfair for the Neutral!OMGWTF!!111one!eleventyone!2"... Well body! Was your choice to be neutral... And since you are Neutral, there is no god present to teach you/provide you with things like that...

Edit: I should add this: The prices would be cool enough to make people want them (That's not hard. Something as simple as a different FX makes people go out of their way. Good example is City of Heroes! People do quite difficult missions, or a long series of tasks just to be able to earn the right to wear a cape or have glowing eyes... Or Guild Wars! People pays obsene amounts of Platinum just to be able to wear an armor that only looks different, not even better stats), but not too powerful as to brake the PvE/PvP game.

So.. the only way for a homin to advance is to be lead by a god? Imo the more time the waste worshipping these "gods" the less time we have to see to our personal advancement.

It could have been worse I guess, in that at least it is something.

But a single grain of rice is not a meal. :(

Either that or someone got their fishing bait box muddled up with their rice box...

True enough.

A 3rd faction needs to be added and 3-way maps deployed instead of the 2-way ones.

The mats gathered could be used to build... national hospitals (sorry, this the best I could come up with atm, but feel free to brainstorm :) ) in each land.

The only question that remains how neutrals get to the maps. I'm sure Karavan and Kami wouldn't want non-believers there, especially if they might even fight their followers. Maybe Elias could jump in "for the rescue"?

Would the neutral homins be happy with this solution?

It would certainly be better than what we have now, which is, essentially, nothing

Definitely better than the suggestion of helping whomever is the loser at the moment.

I understand your opinion Lathaniel, however I do not respect it. The conflict of Kami vs Karavan is not your classical example of good against evil. All I do know is that the Karavan is willing to sacrifice Atys to further their own goals. That I cannot accept.

Amitst: I don't understand your opinion, as I don't see what could have made you so conclusively decide that, however I was always taught to respect other people's opinions, regardless of whether they are compatible with my own or not.

I don't get it, are neutrals against PvP or having a God to worship?
