The current war zone is bringing out the worst in our formerly friendly community, and there is nothing within the game mechanics which allows any acts of kindness or even decency towards the foe.
Last night I did see Kye offer to let the Karavan res someone who had been killed by kinchers, but the first karavan supporter to get there attacked the massed Kami host instead, with predictable results.
Many times I have had people say they woould rez me if they could, and I too would rez an enemy to spare them DP ( I might kill them myself.. as a strategic issue, but they would have had to respawn anyway )
Obviously noone wants bomb heals that help their opponents (except me - I think theyre funny), so what Im suggesting is a new brick.. a HP healing spell - in the Offensive Magic tree, so it can be used on 'opponents' only. This way it wont be cast in combat (except by klutzes and people with a perculiar sense of humour).. It will be purpose built for healing enemy casualties.
How to avoid exploits is tricky.. probably allow honor for killing recent rez recipients under the normal 5 minute rule so you dont benefit from rezzing people slain in PvP, but personally I think its more 'honorable' to heal an enemy and then kill them myself, than let them accumulate DP.
If the target doesnt agree... they have a respawn button they can use.

Personally I'd remove the heal restrictions and also alow for "friendly fire" But then I always played on T2 servers that had teamdmg enabled....

I myself requested they allow me to pull in a kara healer to heal me. When I made that comment, boy did I get laughed at.
