Baxter, your point about how quick you die is of little worth.

Psylo your post doesn't make any sense. This is something purposefully intended. We are in competition to construct these monuments to our deities. If there is any unfairness it is that the area is desert, but even low level diggers can produce mats that will aid this construction.
Oh. Well my opinion is that to win the contest you dig faster and more then others and not kill harvesters to stop them digging. In every other "sport" such is called a "foul" (is foul the right word ? in german its :faul)

Sorry to have again an other opinion. We do not build monuments for our deities. If this would be so you would find me there. The only deity i know whos calling his followers to the arms and to kill is called devil, lucifer or deamon. Even or especially from a RP view i can only think of completely stupid and lieing kami priests, politicans and royals who prented to know what Kami or Karavan want from us. Beside my religious view i am also born and educated in germany. We where told 100 times in school that we dont attack others and that we dont gas others. Now, i have learned my lesson back then. Every old nazi said after war: i did only what i was told. Stupid scum i d say. Dont call it lore or content. Its only brainwashing sh*t.

Besides all this i am not upset that its desert. I could dig q80 there but due to reasons i named above you wont find me there. If i ever log in again you will find me finishing th HQ plans of my sleeves and training my ranged or melee somewhere in a beautiful PvE area where the birds sing while sun shines.

Sorry Psylo, I was educated with logic where rules are abandoned for sense. The mechanics of a game are much more important, and consequently worth is taken at face value. I would say you are brainwashed in the same way they might have been then, just in a different way.

Goal: Build a monument/superstructure that could bring our god into this world
Method: Dig and prevent opposition from digging

Another point.... I'm insulted that you put the value of a homin life above the value of the life of any other creature. How can you rationalize that?

Sorry, i can not express as i like in this language. Be sure that i have got a good portion of logic. If you ever come to germany i ll visit Dachau with you. Might be better then talking.

Every life is of value and a monument is the last to kill for.

Please enjoy e2 island as much as possible while i enjoy to try to say what i think.

Of what value is every life. Especially when the ones we are fighting for are the ones that renew it for us. This is a very different world.

Familiarity breeds contempt.
On Atys resurrection is neither wondrous, nor special. Its as ubiquitous as running water or electricity is to us.

I always promoted gameplay which is avoiding ressurection. Dead is not much on Atys, thats true. If i take grimjims work (thread) about gamedesign i belong mainly to group 3. Simulation it was i guess. I am happy that i dont have to create a new char after getting killed by a kinch. But this is only mechanic for me. I dont play Psylo as an immortal.

2nd is that it doesnt need years of studying psychologie to know that humans are in learning mode when playing. Just look at your children or the children in the park. They learn the world while playing. Dont think this mechanism doesnt work anymore when you are 18+ years old. The conditioning is always working until you die. I do have a (not completely finished yet) traditional education in shiatsu. Although i am a noob my sensei put a lot of time into showing the connection between daily contitioning and the resulting changes at the human body and mind/emotions

Ah, well. off topic :)

But e2 is not my problem. I can avoid it without whining. But the lore, or better said, the simulation is broken awful for me now. My choice would be now to be able to have revolution from wyler and to start our own area where Kami protect the pacifist homins. Loria is ours !!! :D
