For those total idiots who keep saying PvP isn't fun.. Why is half the server pop doing it, and doing it almost non-stop?

Perhaps for the same reasons I am, despite loathing large portions of it.

* Roleplay
* Character consistency
* Its the only game in town
* Curiosity
* Plotline/story/lore clues
* For the rewards at the end
* Making a point by sacrificing themselves continuously
* Just there to heal to lessen the impact

Ascribing your singular motives and beliefs to everyone involved is succumbing to what you're accusing others of.

And this 'shut up whiner' is as bad as the crowing and smack talk in game.

half is having fun and half is not. it's always close to 50/50 with 2 options

PvP/FvF is new to this game, so everyone will killOnSight everybody.
you can faction hop easyly with a few missions btw. that itself makes this "war" and "honor" pointless. just another grind

i have no problem with PvP if its not forced on me.
go have fun, but leave me out of it.

they let us belive that ep2/hallOfFame thingy is not entirely PvP that those who do not enjoy PvP can contribute. they failed, badly.
you cant craft if you dont have mats, you cant get mats if you dont like PvP sooner or later and depening on "central conflict", harvesters will get ganked.
blame fighters ? why? they are having fun in PvP... harvesters are having fun harvesting (debatable not dieing over and over again

i'm staying out of ep2 for now, have "fun"

If what I'm seeing in this little desert is even have the server's player base then this game is in even worse shape than I thought.

Maybe it is the majority, but if Nevrax has driven away that many players then I really wonder if they can recover at all. AO had more players at a single tower battle than I've seen in that little sandbox and AO is no measure of success.

Again people are being stupid and trying to pick up on little details that have no effect on the main point of my post. You know what I'm saying but because you have no decent reply to my posts your picking at it.

People are hardly posting any decent suggestions on improving what we've got or suggesting what we could add to keep them happy.

So yeah, my opinion stands.

I haven't found a way to get a count of players on a server, much less a count of players in each area of a server. Is this possible, or is everyone just talking as if they know things they don't?

Oh and... what about the players who aren't logging on because they have nothing to do that interests them? Kinda sways the numbers towards those who like the current content doesn't it?
