Crashed in Zora, server wouldn't let me log in for like 7 minutes and then the event was done.

Although I like the outcome... in all fairness it might be good to have a revote sometime later on scheduled more in advance and after the sides have gotten under way.

Homins, the Matis people voted against supporting the building of a Kami Sactuary on their lands.

Here is the speech given:

Greetings to you, my noble citizens of Matis!

I trust already many of you have heard the words of Jena, that the Karavan brought to our ears not long ago. I have a response to give from our King Yrkanis which I shall now declare to you all.

"Proud people of Matis, we have followed the Karavan for many winters. They have long been our friends and closest allies in times of need, they have defended us from Kitin foes and helped rebuild our Kingdom to the glory we see today

It is with great pride in my people that I encourage you all to assist in building these temples and monuments to our savior Jena, since if we do so we shall have access to new powers and an even brighter future secure in the might of the Karavan.

The Kami, those same treacherous beings who prevented us from building prime root walls to defend against the kitin threat, also hope to build rival sanctuaries in our lands so as to spread the message of the soul-eater Ma-duk.

Homins of Matis let us now see if the Kami should build their sanctuaries in our wooded lands.

If you are prepared to tolerate these Kami structures in Matis, rise up and show your feelings, if however you wish to demonstrate your displeasure at these dubious constructs, then do so by sitting in silent protest! Please note that only those of the Matis race can join in this demonstration.

I have decided that these temples of Ma-duk are an offense to our people to be constructed in our proud lands. The construction of these worthless blocks is illegal in my eyes and must be stopped. Are we willing to risk they use these sanctuaries to contaminate our faith in Jena, as a place for Ma-duk to start feasting our proud Matis souls? .. I think not. We must stand against such things, and carry on the fight for our continued freedom!

As followers of the light-bringer Jena, let us go and gather the materials for these mighty wonders in her honour to be raised in our very lands. Let them become new beacons of hope in our lands, teaching our people the glory and power to be gained from following the Karavan and Jena in these strange days. Let us show those misguided fools who follow the Kami their error as they can only gaze with awe on our towering monuments.

Let us do Atys proud my people, I have faith in you as I do in Jena. Let us fight for her as you have fought for me in the past. May your names go down in generations to come as those who helped build the great monuments to Jena. May they become wonders of Atys!"

Those are the words of your King Yrkanis, I trust you shall heed his words wisely. May Jena protect you friends, Farewell.

Homins the Fyros also voted against endorsing a Karavan temple in Pyr,

Here is the speech given:

Hail to you proud Fyros, unbeaten warriors of the Homin people! I come before you in the name of his Imperial Majesty, Emperor Dexton with news from our guardian spirits, the Kami. In chambers with a delegation from the Zorai and after meeting with the Kami he has ordered me to make the following announcement... "My fellow Fyros, strong people, stout warriors, keeper of the covenant of the flame and guardians of Atysian freedom. Ma-Duk's blessings upon you, may your arm stay strong and may your enemies fall before your blade. Atys is changing my people, and we must change with it. The peace between the peoples is threatened and even the Kami can need our help." "We are called to raise a sanctuary, in the name of Ma-Duk, to honour and keep the Kami, to show our faith and our strength to all of Atys. To be asked to build such a wonder is a great honour, a testament to the will of the Fyros and the esteem in which they are held." "And such a sanctuary we shall build my brothers and sisters! Such an edifice that Jena herself shall look down from the heavens and tremble, knowing the might and honour of the Homins that built such a thing!" "From this temple the faith in Ma-Duk shall be taught and spread, in time, perhaps, to even teach the Matis the error of their ways and bring them to the light of Ma-Duk. In strong wood, in firm bark, in glowing amber and fine leather we shall carve a testament to the Fyros spirit in the name of Ma-Duk and the Kami." "We also hear of the Karavan, that they are similarly busy, but their constructions impinge on lands left neutral by long signed alliances. Their temples are built in their own faith, but also in a breach of faith - that between homins."

Homins of the proud Fyros let us now see if the Karavan should build their temples in our fair lands.

If you are prepared to tolerate these constructions on our soil rise up and show your feelings, if however you wish to demonstrate your displeasure at these alien buildings then this can be done by sitting in silent protest! Please note that only those of the Fyros race can join in this demonstration.

This breach of trust cannot be tolerated. If all treaties are to be ignored, if our faith is to be mocked and derided with such false idols then we have no choice but to act. Gird your loins for battle, sharpen your blades and mark your faces with the aspect of the beast. Let all Atys TREMBLE for the Fyros go to war and they do not do so lightly."

"If the followers of the Karavan try to build their temples to a false and foul goddess then strike them down with cleansing flame and destroy all that they have built. For faith, for Fyros, for your Emperor and for Ma-Duk!" So end the words of our Emperor to you, his people. Heed them well.

Homins the Zorai further rejected any aid for the building of a Karavan temple in Zora

Here is the text of the speech:

Blessing upon you, followers of Ma-Duk, I bring to you today the words of Mabreka Cho, whom relays to you the intentions of Ma-Duk. From within his meditation he has communed with both the Kami and Ma-Duk and has returned to us with these words: “My fellow Zoraï, wise sons and daughters of the chosen race of the Kami: blessings and salutations be upon you. Season to season, our blessed Atys changes her ways to fit changing needs. All its flowers have a time for withering so that, in a season their children may grow strong once more. We have also had a withering, and even live upon its soil. The cold wind that would force our leaves down this time once more blows from the blasphemous Karavan, having no respect for the land. Their contempt for this blessing Ma-Duk has given us all is shown by their latest fancy: Their placement of so called ‘Temples’ upon our soil.

Wise Homins of the Zorai, let us now see if the Karavan should build their temples in our fair jungles.

If you are prepared to tolerate these constructions on our terrain, rise up and show your feelings, if however you wish to demonstrate your displeasure at these works of the Karavan, then show this by sitting in silent protest! Please note that only those of the Zorai race can join in this demonstration.

This incursion we cannot allow. It is an affront to Ma-Duk and thus, a direct attack upon the Zoraï. Any that you see ruining our lands with these abominations, repel them! With each piece they build of their foul ‘temples’ they hurt Atys and defile our very homes. It is in times like these that we must be firm in our faith. If you see these invaders, close your eyes; meditate to the Kami – find their wisdom. We are Zoraï: the proud, the wise and the strong. And this we will show any one who dares laugh in the face of Ma-Duk!

As the chosen of the Kami, we have the sacred duty to show all homins what the true faith means. The Kami have called to us and told us: build a temple of Ma-Duk! Blessed are we for being allowed to construct such a wonder. For that is what it will become: a beacon of faith, a hallowed grand temple unchallenged in magnificence in all of Atys. From there we shall spread the teachings of Ma-Duk and those that are deemed worthy will be graced by the Kami. I have seen this building in my dreams, my fellow Zoraï, and I have wept at its beauty. In these dreams Tryker, Matis, Fyros and Zoraï hold hands in worship for Ma-Duk. In this vision the Goo has been driven back. In this prophecy Atys thrives like never before. As all things go, visions are but that: Dreams of the future. It is with our hands that we can make these images a reality, one which will favour our children for ages to come. My Zoraï: we live in exciting times, I know you shall all do the Kami proud.” Thus end the words of Matini Bremmen Kalus Cho, you would be wise to heed their call. I thank you for your attention and time, homins. May the Kami smile upon you, and find your days enlightening

Homins the Trykers agreed to tolerate the construction of a Kami sanctuary at Fairhaven.

Here is the text of the speech given:

Fellow Karavan followers!

A few days ago, the construction of a Karavan temple near Fair Haven has been announced, as you will undoubtedly have heard.

We, the tryker government are very pleased with these developments and fully support this work. The benefits of having this monument constructed near our beloved capital will be immeasurable, it will be a strong symbol of our beliefs and will become a centre of teaching and of knowledge for all of you.

The most important factor, however, will be protection! As has previously been announced, a Kami attack is inevitable and bound to happen in the not so distant future. This monument will offer us protection from those who seek to destroy us!

2nd part of the speech:

Now, Homins, you already might have heard some rumours about what I am going to tell you. The copycat Kami have also announced the building of monuments throughout Atys. They, too, will construct them near each capital of each land.

So fellow Trykers do we want these so-called Kami sanctuaries in out lakelands? This is your chance to choose. If you are prepared to put up with these constructions in our own lands, rise up and show your feelings, if however you wish to demonstrate your displeasure at these Kami works - then do so by sitting in silent protest! Please note that only those of the Tryker race can join in this demonstration.

Since we do not want to be the ones to start a war, we, the Tryker government, reluctantly tolerate the construction of the kami monument near our capital. HOWEVER! We will remain vigilant about the actions taking place at that site! Should there be something going on that is against our interests, we WILL take appropriate measures, you have my word on that.

Therefore, Homins, we ask you to take up your arms and picks and help each other to gather everything the karavan have asked for in order to be able to build the Karavan monument. Each and every single one of you will have a very important role in this. Fighters will fight for our protection, harvesters will gather the raw materials necessary to build parts for it, and crafters will build the parts that will then be assembled to the final monument.

Let us work hand in hand to achieve this most crucial goal! Let us show our loyalty to the karavan! Let us construct the most beautiful, most glorious monument Atys has ever seen!
