Bah i don´t care how many times they bring it up, Kami for the people! Have i said it before at all? However, in my point of view Karavan and all the adherent is scumbags Noo but seriously, think about it. The kamis is the only one that restrict the planet from being overexploited for a starter, just think of it for a sec. What do Jena care? She says: " bloody keep forage while you still have some working muscles in your body" The planet gonna convert to a dump in notime with no resources and just a bad environment if the Karavan get a monopoly power over the planet. Just check this equation:

Ki = Kami aligned in the area in %
Kn = karavan aligned in the area in %
A = tolal area on Atys
D = Destruction
TD = Total destruction
PR = Preservation

Planet preservation equation index: PR = (Ki * PR) - (Kn * D) / A
In equilibrium = (Ki * PR) / A = 1 => optimal for the planet
Karavan equilibrium = Kn * D / A = TD
