I played Eve Online for a year, and agree that it was a great game that deserved its rating, as does Ryzom.

Only reason I left was because our corporation (guild) changed leadership too many times and eventually died. After that I just lost all interest in playing it anymore.

I just couldn't get into EVE. I loved it at first, but then I realised what a wasted oppurtunity it was, and how it wasn't much more than an economic simulator with a very simple battle system tacked on. (Sorry if I'm being too harsh, but it really didn't work out for me.)

However, EVE's music is the best I've heard outside of an FF game.

The battle system ended up being tweaked several times over.

I specifically remember the issue with missles and how it compares with ranged in Ryzom, costs a lot, takes up lots of space, slow rate of fire, and did only little damage.

I just hope Nervax fixes ranged fighting faster than CCP fixed missles.

oddly enough i never trust the opinion of others, esp those who make money making opinions.

so i buy games based on my experience with games. Which is why i have alot of carp ones

But i play rysomz which says something.

I can allready feel how much the game improved because of that....and I am not even playing atm!
