Question about ATS...

Just a quick question really, I wondered how the ATS works in terms of character development. If any of you ever played on the test server for Star Wars Galaxies, you will know what I mean when I say the blue frog! To those that didn't, basically there was a giant blue frog that could teach you any skills you wanted instantly, with no requirements. So you could log in, advance your toon to max and then test what they wanted you to test.

Does it work like this on the Ryzom ATS? Or do you have to level in the regular sense? I'm just enquiring due to the open Outposts testing that is coming up, and wondering how hard it's going to be if the power-levellers just grind away for 4 days and grab all the outposts. *shrug*

you get a lvl 150 char with a nice amount of cash and when your ats manager can get the planning done you could also get equipment. skill-wise you can buy anything you want up until lvl 150 in any skill tree, takes ~20 minutes tho.

With the exception of craft unless they have vastely upped the amount of skill points you are allocated (its not possible to buy out all four races craft trainers) , iirc you can get about two races worth ? so make sure to buy the plans you want from each before trying to buy them out

I made a char a coupla days ago... as long as you do craft last (ie don't buy hp/focus upgrades or selfheals or auras) then you can clear out all 4 trainers with sp to spare

Oh, and with Secor gone and no replacement yet, there's no Arispotle team leader to beg for money/equipment
