Tech problems-

1) Random crashes throughout the game. Apparantly was due to my out of date video drivers- though every other single program works fine. I updated them, but apparantly the ones I updated them to are "too new". I have to use a specific version that I have been unable to find on the net.

2)Now the patch thing has happened the game crashes on log in. I get an error report with a big debug button on it- but that hasn't made any difference the 10 times or more I tried to log in. So basically I cannot play at all now.

So I have decided to quit- it's supposed to be a game, and I can no longer be bothered with the hassle- but when I try access my edit account button I just get an invalid account message!! So I can't actually cancel my account either. You will notice I have logged into here successfully- so I know my user name and password. I have recently changed ISP, and therefore email address, so I am unable to use the "forgotten password" option just in case the system has given me a new username/password for reasons of it's own.

I signed up to play a game, not root through my system deleting and editing files. Cancel my account. Do not take a penny out of my account from this point. As I cannot access the page to edit my account this post will serve as notice that I am cancelling my account, and that I have withdrawn my permission for Nevrax or what ever the company is called to access my bank account.

The password for your account details is e-mailed to you for security reasons. Check the e-mail you signed up to the game with, if that still doesnt work do a *forgot password* and if that still doesnt work try billing-ee@ryzom.com

Sorry to hear about your problems, the support team I always find helpful if you give them a try

When I have had the need to talk to tech (eg for the random in game crashes) the person dealing with the difficulties was always excellent. No complaints about them at all. But I shouldn't have had the need to contact them constantly.

As I pointed out I cannot use the forgotton password option because when I changed my ISP, and email address with it. Ryzom has my old e mail address registered. That is ignoring the fact that I haven't forgotten my password, since I can almost log into the game!! These forums use the same account/password combination- and I can get in here!! I appreciate that this is not the best place to post my difficulties, but I couldn't see another way to contact the company.

I will try that e mail address, thanks.

You account password and your forum/game password are differant.

Sorry to see you go under such circumstances, I'm sure the billing people will be able to help you out.

The Saga of Ryzom is a game that demands a lot from a system so any driver that is not installed exactly according to instructions or a system component that is a bit weak (like cooling) may cause problems. I am sorry to hear that you are having such issues, you should have stopped into our live support and talked to someone who could have talked you through the steps to get you going.

If by live support do you mean Klients? I'd love to be able to use Klients, but some time back Klients stopped working. I get a banner saying only registered users can use it, and then it endlessly scrolls login prompts and ignores any input from me. I just pulled down Klients.ee late last week when the Thursday patch prevented me from logging in, and Klients behaved no better.

Try changing your game login password. That should refresh things on the Klients server database. Give it a few minutes before trying to login on Klients. If you still cannot connect, then email support-ee@ryzom.com and we will fix you up.

Aya i had same probs when i first downloaded it open ya klients folder and open [Plugs] scroll down to the bottom of that and where it says login= password= make sre its blank after the = part i had a 1 or something after mine when i dled it and had to delete the 1 then i just ran klients again and entered login and pass and all was cool :)
