you knew it wasn gonna happen so here we go :p admitedly before the heal was too powerful and sap/stam heals where to weak but now we seem to have a bit of a role reversal rather than balance. To me it makes no sense why heal life would be less than sap/stam heals.

Im a lvl 202 Healer My max Heal (with 97% power amps) is like 3.6K. Seems ok, wont be able to res most players over lvl 100 to full health again but thats life.on the down side i can only cast the spell a few times before i need a heal myself..

Tho. because the stam/sap heals have been increased. it looks unlikely that i will need to use double sap/stam often. so it has balanced out a little.

Can't really answer this until I've had an extensive chance to test the new heal spells in the field. It'll probably take several hunts to get used to them and learn how to use them optimally.

But it does seem the patch notes are incorrest.
- HP heal is divided by 2
- STA heal is 5 times higher
- SAP heal is 4.16 times higher
Old level 100 heal life: 650
New level 100 heal life: 325
Multiplication factor: 0.50

Old level 100 heal sap: 198
New level 100 heal sap: 416
Multiplication factor: 2.10

Old level 100 heal stam: 198
New level 100 heal stam: 500
Multiplication factor: 2.53

Apparently they meant "5 (or 4.16) times higher divided by 2"?

I'm lvl 166 healer

Single heal spell
-----------------
Healing: 1078
Sap+health total cost: 156
Efficiency: 1078 / 156 = 6,9


Double heal spell
----------------
Healing: 1768
Sap+health total cost: 508
Efficiency: 1768 / 508 = 3,45


Efficiency difference between single and double healing spell is: 6,9 / 3,45 = 2

So basicly single healing spell is almost 2 times better in long run. Only different is that double spell You heal about 65% more in same time. Why not 100%? Because You can't use full healing capacity without time delays, because the stanza cost is so high.

So basicly I use to heal about 4300, now I'm using 1078 healing. Different is pretty major as sab+health use efficiency of those 4300 and 1078 was the same.

@poll creator: you should've waited a week or so, in order to let everyone get a good grip on the changes. even the positive result above might just be a kneejerk reaction

one way of looking at the new heals is that single missle is much more efficient in an everyday balanced fight, but if ur fighting something big and scary u need to sod the efficiency and throw some double missiles out to keep your team members active :)

same goes for ele too really, the adjustment people need to make is simply that fights arent so quick now. If you play expecting to be able to compensate for the new costs then u'll get wound up, but to play and enjoy a fight, maybe even have some tactics and melee/afflic being useful would be a very good thing.

imho very happy with the race to the top slowed down a bit, so we can all enjoy the journey a little and not play to grind, but grind while playing ;-)

If anything, the new sap and stamina healing needs to be lessened a bit. One stamina bomb every minute or so and all 4 melee guys in our team could use 100% stamina credits and never even consider stamina usage. Even 'after parry' and so on became a bit moot, stamina suddenly becoming such a non-issue.

It is overall a positive change that sap and stamina are stronger than they were and hp is weaker. I think sap and stamina could go down a tad from their new ultra-levels though.

Kneejerk reaction: they're ok after an evening of testing them with two healers 50-100 levels less than the nuker and three melees. Sap/stam could go down (I like all those 'after' actions too). Will see how things are after a few weeks of adjusting though.

Healing is fine now. Stam and sap need reducing a bit.
