It's unlikely to be hardware issues, as its very unlikely that the game runs on a single server. I believe most of the rubberbanding is due to the ping times. You run up to a monster, it sees you on your way there, it goes to attack you, and when your client catches up (500ms/packet later) you're facing the wrong way and it's behind you.korin77 wrote:Im sorry Cilar but how can you possibly know that? Are you one of the developers? They have not released any information on how many players are actually on the NA servers, there could very well be a larger than expected amount.
The wintermere server wasn't the one being stress tested was it? If there are some hardware issues specific to this server it very well may not have shown up til now because it wasn't stress tested.
Still, rubberbanding seemed to come up less with this latest patch, so kudos to Nevrax. Er, more kudos, since they already rock.
