IMO, lev 10 in harvest and crafting and lev 20 in magic and fight is more than enough to kiss the n00bland good by, even you have less than 5 hours in game.

I left at level 14 and didn't regret it. I only regretted not starting crafting in the starter pack since it cost me 50 skills later.

See you around Fairhaven.

I guess I'm going the opposite way. I have just gone to Fyros Island for a nice relaxing holiday and having the time of my life.

I find crafting sandcastles to be very relaxing mixed with a spot of shooting igaras. Then I'll do all the missions I can before coming back to the rat race.

My advice is leave when you like as you can always come back for a break later.

At every village is a karavan or kami welcomer. (not sure if he is called that)
For Matis or Tryker it is a human shaped person in black / red leather clothes with a mask. (mmm.. this sounds a bit naughty).
For a Fyros or Zorai there is a homin (Kami Adept) to talk to.

They give you a direction to go to find a teleporter, which is not very far from a village either. Talk to one of the NPC and you will be teleported to the mainland.

But be warned... you cannot go back after that!

There should be a bulletin that every noob can read to tell them there are herds of instantly-respawning noob mobs, from suckling yubos on up, in every race's capital city.

I'd probably actually suggest leaving noob island right away, and getting your first levels just outside the main city's gates. This way you'll meet more of the people you'll be playing with, and will probably get some nice gear hand-me-downs too 8)
