half-joke
If the mats would degrade over time you wont have those kind of problems.

now seriously, I think this kind of degrade over time would balance economy a bit and would solve storage space problems. Also, the equipment should degrade too. Do you wear last year clothes? Or from 2 years ago?

I think if there was sufficient storage space, you wouldn't see so many mats stored on the NPC vendors. I dig, craft, melee, mage all at good levels. Once you start getting 1 of every type of melee weapons and amps, plus range weapons, ammo and armours, you don't have much space for storage of mats. No wonder why some people opt to go solo, so they can get a guild hall to themselves for storage.

Maybe the space that you are allowed to acquire is related to your dig level and craft level. This would also apply well to guilds.

As you level these skills you need more and more and MORE mats to be able to level, so it would make sense to have the appropriate amount of storage to facilitate your character's existence.

I think a good solution is to buy more space...

You can fatten up your packers for $XXX dapper... same goes with GH or APT.

Prices will have to be negotiated and implemented with care and consideration...

but most people who want MORE space, have the money and are willing to pay.
Others are fine with what they got.

(Rather then buying 10 APT's... just upgrade so your one apt is as big as 10 regular sized ones)...

i'm sure this idea was already posted... but.. yea

The high level diggers and crafters are the ones who would really know. No one can get higher than the 250 cap, so it's not possible to need more than a 250 digger/250 crafter.

Do we know whether Nevrox intended for there to be a level of difficulty in being a 250 multiracial digger and multiracial crafter? Probably not, unless they comment :P

I haven't read the whole thread, but I'm only 151 in my highest dig and only craft a few things at around 100, so I don't feel I have a place to comment anyway :P

Or better still, Rent more space. If you wish to have more space there should be some kind of weekly fee. If your a digger or crafter and need the space, you have the dapper. ;)

LoL..

Would be nice... but for some reason, my Dappers are a lot more plentiful and easier to get then my Dollars :)

I would much rather spend my in-game money, but that's just me. :)

hey Frydes, wanna wire me some mulah to my swiss account?

I could use an extra computer :) (and a hub, video card, memory, monitor, OS, table space, Ryzom Account, Monthly fee, upgraded internet connection to handle the extra use, modem to go with broadband, and a multi-tasking book for dummies :) )
