If a Ragus hits you in the head your armor won't protect you.

SAP Crystals cost 1 DAP per SAP stored, to make !! (They really need to tell you that somewhere in the description of them.)

In the entire FIGHT skill tree, there is 24,330 improvement points possible. (For those of you who were worried about getting that extra bleed stanza)

Anyone else have some interesting things?
Which of course means you have WAY too much time on your hands *hehehe*

The wearing armor and crafting thing is a bit of a non-problem. I can produce "max level" equipment wearing anything I want as long as it is the item to be produced is supposed to come out equal to the maximum possible quality for the skill being used. For example, I can produce a Q40 item using Q40 mats as long as the craft skill used is Craft4, and I can to that wearing a full suit of anything.

On the other hand, if i were to attempt to produce an item that is of lower quality than the max quality for the skill then the item will come out 1 Q lower than expected. For example, I want to produce a Q25 item, and all of my mats are Q25. Of course there is no Craft2.5 skill so I have to use Craft3. So i load up the mats i need for the item into my Craft3 skill and make the item. It will come out as a Q24 item and not a Q25 item, and it will not matter what I am wearing at the time.

So, in my practice of making armor and weapons I never attempt to make anything with mats lower in Q than the max possible for the skill I am using. In other words, I will not attempt to make an item using Q45 mats with the Craft5 skill. Instead, I will take those mats and make a Q40 item out of it. That way the item will recieve the full amount of the added stats I put into them and the item will come out at the Q that I intended it to.

The only time that I will attempt to make an item that is not a multiple of 10 in Quality is when I'm "leveling" my crafting and the items i make will not be going to anyone except a merchant.

What you described is a bug with the level 3 crafting stanza and nothing to do with your theory. If you use Crafting 3 with ANY QL mats over 25 you will still end up with ql 24. The only way to get ql 25 is to use crafting 4. This is a bug. You are right that wearing armor would not affect this in any way. However, wearing armor does often cost lower quality stuff to be made. It isn't that much higher chance than when you're naked so you won't notice it much unless you have a death penalty and wearing full armor.

It's not just limited to Craft3. Just lastnight I had the same thing happen when I attempted to make Q30 items with Craft4, and Q40 items using Craft5. The Q30 items I attempted to make while using Craft4 came out as Q29. The Q40 items I attempted to make with Craft5 came out as Q39.

The bug you are both talking about is known and the devs are working on it. I spoke to a GM last night about it and it is on the get it fixed list.
