I've seen a few nice items up at the auction house and a few homins have shown me supreme items, such as helmets, that they claimed were the best or the second best ever made. So I was wondering if the proud crafters could show us snapshots of the best items that they have ever made. It would be nice to have a virtual museum of this fine art. Another interesting gallery would be pictures of the amazing event items and the various boss armors. What are the stats of the best amps, axes, pikes, etc. ever crafted? And who crafted them?
The best sword that I saw was one made by Scarazi and auctioned for 10 million dappers. http://www.elementals-of-atys.com/zoari_sword_250.jpg
Are there any better ones made? Do level 250 crafters make the best items in mass production or do these beauties only get made ever blue moon?

Re: Where is the best sword ever made and who crafted it?
LMAO, very old pic.
as for best sword, that wasnt the best i`ve made, made a few with better parry/dodge mod`s, cant remember exact stats but search for Yoshi`s ql250 swordin a recent auction, 3, -7 in targets dodge and parry mod`s rings a bell though.
As for mass producing them, no way, the best are given to close friends, or high paying homins, and are very rare. Since making that Sword, i`ve only made 6-8 others with max speed/dmg. Axes the same, only 3 ql250 max speed/dmg. maybee the other crafters have higher customer base, but still these things are pretty hard to make
thanks for the appretiaction

glad you can spell appreciation better than me
amps different matter, everyones always searching for 'the best' there are too many good amp recipees out there, and i doubt no-one will ever disclose that they have 'the best' amp combo, i believe it has sparked off some off the recent wars
EDIT:spelt appreciation wrong again

I wasn't looking to fish for recipes, I just think that someone should have a crafting Hall of Fame or virtual museum showing the best crafted items and honoring the crafters.scarazi wrote:amps different matter, everyones always searching for 'the best' there are too many good amp recipees out there, and i doubt no-one will ever disclose that they have 'the best' amp combo, i believe it has sparked off some off the recent wars![]()

This is a tough one, but a very good idea. The thing is IMHO... The best weapons are probably made in the 150-220 range. Sure, they wont have the same damage as a Q250, but mats are so dang hard to get in high enough numbers to make show pieces.
My dueling blade only comes out for Gladiator... I can make my own Q250 1h blades and appreciate the work that guys like Scar provide. But to make my own personal Gladiator blades took alot of good mats, and some nice ones that Basic gave me knowing I was making for myself... and with possibly the best mats I had, I got a fail on first try and was 2 mats with lesser stats on my current one.
I guess in a nutshell, I would suggest that you understand that best is as probably not going to be a Q250. That being said it'd probably just a matter of who wanted to host it and then slowly populating it.

How about this cutie, I was able to get on ATS
I think the stats can be improved even further, but I was so impatient
It's not a sword, but I think we can expand the topic a tiny bit

Very cool! I've never seen amps that have bonus "for all magic".

On the topic of amps
97 in all but heal power which goes to 96 is possible, if only wintermute was around to take credit for it
