Possible new player here

Hello. I'm an older guy who's played most of the MMORPG's out. I also played this back before it went Live, but did not stick with it at the time.

I'm here to ask a few simple questions that went unanswered when I did the Forum search;

1. Is it a viable playstyle to DUO with someone the whole game?
2. Is crafting required of your playtime to enjoy the game?
-2a. Do good weapons/armor drop from monsters or is it playermade only?

Thanks. I'm still running the free trial and haven't been able to find some answers.

1. Yes, possible but after higher levels achieved (200+) it's slower going.
2. Not if you have money or connections.
-2a. Mobs only drop mats, and some are highly sought after... Players still make most of the gear but the NPC bosses have a special armor drop that is hard to attain (wasn't always hard and many exist now).

Is the end-game only raid type fights? Or are there still non-uber things to fight?

And are there player mounts? Hadn't seen em.
