PvS stands for Player vs Spouse.
My curiosity is how do you manage to get rid of conflict?
And maybe keep playing?
No matter is wife, husband, mother, father or other relative.
This kind of conflict appears when S (spouse) does not understand why you (player) HAVE to go in PR and dig sup mats ("what the heck are those?") NOW, to kill that kip ("Kips? Are those for eating or what?") NOW, or to craft that set of heavy armor NOW, instead of going to bed, at shoping, at work, at school or whatever.

Re: PvS
The secret is to get married after you start playing games regularly.
My wife knew without question that I was a gamer and that a fair amount of my time would be spent doing so. Sadly, she does not choose to play as well, but we have an understanding. My son (age 6) is another story. There are times when he hets frustrated, during which I will usually put him on my lap and let him help me with controls. He won't tolerate killing plants, though. "Dad, go kill some bosses!".

Re: PvS
LOL. I have to wait a bit for that. My daughter is only 8 months old now.
Anywa, is kinda simple for me. I have an ... agreement with my wife. I play only a decent amount of time (from 22.00 to 06.00 - only 8 hours out of 24). As long I respect this, is ok.
But when a new game appears... is a whole different story. I want 24 out 24 and is not possible.
PS Don't get me wrong, when the kid starts crying I throw away ANY game, lol.

Re: PvS
If you have a full family you probably should be attending to them. Playing games such as ryzom can easily occupy a large portion of your time.
I began playing because I moved away from all I care about temporarily, and the game suffices for company. I look rather disdainfully upon the players who take a break to put their children to bed.... what were their kids doing the few hours beforehand. If your spouse wants your attention and you tell her that you are busy with your guild, maybe you should decide on if you enjoy ryzom or your marriage more. When events come up in my life I take a break from ryzom for a few weeks, and start playing again when I have time.
We would all be healthier with such a pattern.
