Well, i'm a little unbalanced even though I'm not an uber roots harvester and not a PvP supporter. But . . . your arguments have merit.

As Infinity and to a lesser extent Omega V have had a lot of fun and spent a lot of time gathering the reputation of guilds that gank, bot and generally spoil the fun for other players, its gonna take them a while gathering the reputation that they are an ok guild now, if thats what their intention is.
Its all very well to say 'oh we wont be bad any more' but seeing is believing and you guys seem to have a lot of ground to make up with a lot of ppl so good luck and stay fluffy ;)
What ya labeling us now are ya? the guys that trecked you poor buggers all over on windy server...

But I mirror Bri's statement that we will no longer ally with Infinity or any other Kami guild to fight over supernodes or anything else other than against the Kitin.
Given this change, I have replied in a new thread...

I dont mind being labeled a person who believes in the right to PVP. But to be labeled anything more without any form of proof is an utmost insult in my eyes... i will not be labeled a botter, i dispise botting if u cant get a skill legitimately then there is no point in doing it... there is no honor in that...anyone can do it, any age can do it, and not learn anything about it or have anything to be proud of in the end other than 'another' 250 title, blah, if i have a 250 title, you better understand now that it has been earned, every mouse click and all the countless hours.....

now with that said... this post was to announce the guild practice of infinity on ppl in pr.... not anything more.. how hard is that just to let alone? it was short and simple, nothing more needed to be said... but i guess certain 'forum campers' just love to see their name in type...

I stand by my leader, and all above me in Omega.....

reading back what i said, i worded it really wrong. I meant to say members of infinity have given the guild a reputation of being happy to have botters, when i said Omega V to a lesser extent, i meant they were lumped in due to the alliance, and the support of the guild for killing in pr. I didnt mean to call any members of Omega V botters and am really sorry that it came across that way.

Seren, I for one appreciate the correction. OmegaV has been friendly with Ballistic Mystix for a long time and I would hate to have that relationship tarnished over a misunderstanding. I can safely say that since I started in February I have never seen or heard of any member of OmegaV botting. I would personally vouch for each and every one of our members and say that it just hasn't and won't happen.

PVP does not equate to "Evil botting |33+ 13 year old", no matter how badly some folks like to insinuate such. I believe most folks have entirely the wrong idea about us, mostly thanks to a few folks who spend more time picking at flaws and spouting off in a forum than they do actually playing.

I would absolutely love to see an in-game polling system where we could see who REALLY thinks PVP is such a bad thing. Some of you have compelling arguments, but I just don't see how you possibly make up the consensus when so many folks in game enjoy a good killfest. I have worked previously as both staff and owner of private game servers for various emulated MMO's and I can safely say that those who are not interested in PVP classically spend more time in forums than those who prefer to experience their game time to the fullest. The only time you will see me posting here is when I don't have enough time to be in Atys playing my heart out.
