Kamis and Karavans

Personaly an extreme way i played with when looking at Kami and Karavan was like this:

Karavan: Industrious Technoworshippers whoms views of life and superiority cause pollution and move on to the next planet to go trhough that cycle of destcuction/depletion/exploitation (Jena did promise homins to be shipped to a beter world after they are "done" with Atys

Kami: Sentinels of life on Atys whom superior goal is to maintain the fragile balance that makes Atys'unique life and ecosystem possible, they are not only close to nature on Atys, they are a fundamental part of it. In the order of things Atys is numer one and then its the Kami.

These two cannot go together, the effects of exploitation is deadly to the excistance of Atys' ecosystem as we know it. (goo for example)

If i fight for the Kami it is because i like the idealism to be able to fight against the mestakes humanity has made on Earth(sounds really dramatic but i dont mean in it a dramatic sense lol) I see it as taking up my mace for the sake of Life on Atys! Ofcourse in the Kami way everyone is accepted to that life and a fundametal part of it, that would mean respecting Kami ways however.

So.... to follow my original post... I now am curious if the storyline is revealed later on in gameplay that further helps a person determine his/her "alignment" choices?

IF SO - PLEASE DON"T TELL ME SPECIFICS

I am just curious if it is. In other words... As I continue my way through the world, will I be given bits and pieces from world events, quests, missions, NPC interactions, etc... that will influence my thinking on the whole Kami vs. Karavan issue? OR Is it more of the actual players themselves that will influence my thoughts and opinions?

Thanks again for all the posts. It seems like there is a subtle undertone of 'religious' hostility within the community - which I think is fantastic.
