Lag at 10:30PM PDT (time of post) on Windermeer

Post by dpkdpk »

Seems every night at or around 10:30PM PDT the server starts to lag really bad, pings showing up in the 10000 range. It goes on for a while, but I'm not sure how long because I don't stick around to watch.

Is there something going on around that time that causes this, maybe backups? Would be nice to know just so we know when to log off (I figure, if we log off during whatever it is that's slowing things down, maybe whatever it is will go faster!) ;)

Yep ... Every night ... 10:30 PST. Not too fun guys! Whatever is going on must be synched to the pre-dawn hours where ever this serve is located ... perhaps that could be rescheduled to a realistic time for a NA audience?

I hate to bump my own posts, but, no replies from staff as yet.

Nevrax is aware of the issue and is looking into it. It shouldn't be much longer until it gets better :)
