Actually, i get the feeling that patching is slow regardless of your connection speed, because it's the actual code patching itself, not the dl, that's slow.

Am I wrong? or am I Wrong?

I know that patching is directly related to your connection speed. I tried it with broadband... took an hour or so.

then with dial-up.... took 2 days.

Strong and noble sounds good, but it also depends if there is a diffrence in the races and their means of progress for skills. ei. little bugs progress faster in crafting like skills then the hairy brutes.

not entirely, obviously a slow connection will take longer to download a 200 mb patch, but a slow harddisk/ram/cpu will slow down the actual patching
