Player Guide

Hey All,
I just lucked upon this game while messing on the web waiting for EQ2 to patch. What a find!! I took the trail game and dowlloaded and began playing... My problem is that this game is very involved and didn't buy the box version. Anyone know any good PRINTABLE guides around?

Not quite the way you think, there are several guides in here: Player Made Guides and i'd suggest starting with the thread: Read this: how to show older threads from over a month ago. You can show a "printable Version for each thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" at the top and choosing "Show Printable Version".
Then there are the tutorials on the newbie islands and also the ingame help, which are there to show you the ropes on how to play.
But the most valuable guide you can find is a player. My suggestion would be to learn however much you like on the newbie island, perhaps even find some others there and then seek out your local religion representative to hitch a hike towards the main lands. There you should be able to find at least one player who will be willing to teach a newcomer. If you are a player who likes to slip into his character, try reading "The Lore"(no, not the android from Star Trek), learn about the history of Atys and build up at least a bit of a character profile and do the approaching of prospective guides in a roleplay manner. Most will really appreciate that, but it is not a must.

A last hint and my rule number one for every newbie: Always Rightclick Everything. You'll see what it means once you try it.

All Xen's info is good... I always suggest that you decide "what you want to be when you grow up" and focus on that mainly... then when you need a change explore others. A classless game almost requires you to be good at one thing and use it's bonuses to help you elsewhere

Though Xenofur has given you the Printable Guides, down there *points to Signature* You can find a few Video-Tutorials.
Just hit : Teleporter -> Grandmas Tutorials

as well as other Stuff to make the wait to throw EQ2 into the Corner a bit shorter.
