What happens if you try to start the game with paying for a subscription?

Has anyone here tried to run the game after they have registered an account, but HAVE NOT paid for a subscription?

Reason I'm asking is because I DO have an account for Ryzom, but have not yet paid for a subscription yet. ANd when I try to run the game, I get an error saying I cannot connect to ryzom.com:80 and my connection has been refused. The error window gives u the option to Ignore, Debug, or Cancel and each one gives the same result, another error message, I click Ignore and then a runtime error pops up and I click ok, then nothing else. The game never loads up or anything. I have installed the game on 2 different computers both with the same result.

Anyone else get this error?

I haven't seen that error, but it sounds as if access is being blocked by a firewall maybe? You should be taken to the login screen before anything else, but it sounds like you aren't getting even that far suggesting that your computer is not able to see the server at all.
