100 skill points for buying rifle ammo plan
100 skill points for buying rifle ammo plan
Guys don't you think that 100skill points for rifle ammo is a bit over the top? Or am i missing something?
Re: 100 skill points for buying rifle ammo plan
Try jewelry. Each item after the initial earring you get cost 100. Aside from buying upgrades for skill lvl what do you have to spend the points on after that though?
It evens out more and more as you lvl up. You just dont have to buy as much to get started after the initial cost.

Ok Styg ty for telling me I hope it won't be that bad later on
Re: 100 skill points for buying rifle ammo plan
Spend 100 sp for an ammo or a jewelry plan and never spend another sp for that line as the basic plan is all there is.
Spend 30 sp on a basic armor/weapon plan, then at lvl50 spend another 40 to get the medium quality version of the same plan, that at lvl150(?) spend another 50(?) sp to get the high quality version of the same plan. Total of 120 SP per armor item/weapon.
No the higher quality plans don't actually improve the item's stats, just it's looks but what lvl 200+ will want to be running around in the basic plan armor or carry the basic plan weapons? 100 per plan is cheap in the long run

Weapons yes but not jewelry nor ammo, been there and done that during beta testing.
Re: 100 skill points for buying rifle ammo plan
There would be no point in having MQ or other better looking plans for ammo and jewelry. You can't see them and those plans do not change the stats at all. As stated above, that is the reason those plans cost more.

Heavy Armor Kit: 6 * 30 = 180
Heavy Armor MQ Kit: 6 * 40 = 240
Heavy Armor up to MQ: 420 SP
Rifle Kit (Rifle + Rifle MQ + 1 * Rifle Ammo) = 30 + 40 + 100 = 170
Rifle missing 2 * Rifle Ammo = 2 * 100 = 200
Rilfe up to MQ with all ammo types: 370 SP
*edit*
MQ is short for Medium Quality
On Jewelry: At level 51 it branches into one skilltree per item!
Of course as Jewelry only sells with stat boosts this is not that huge an advantage.

I was always wondering... Will they ever include a stat boost for regens on on jewelry? This would be nice for incentive to get MQ jewelry... blarged pos that it is.

On a side note, to actually address the main topic:
The reason ammo type plans cost so much is to prevent the player-base from addressing all forms of ammo type by themselves. It encourages trade amongst and between players - By crafting lvl 40, a player can craft two types of ammo.
