There are quite a few guest houses around Victoria which is a handy location for getting about (close to Victoria train/tube station, lots of buses go there) but these might be around £40/night. Lastminute.com is good for searching for cheap hotels and I'll see if I can dig any other sites up.

It doesn't really matter where you stay though as everyone gets the tube which is open until 12.30am I believe (night buses are fine after that). Obviously it's better to try and stay within 10mins of a tube station A zone 1 & 2 day/weekend travel card covers pretty much anything you'd want to see as a tourist and is valid on the bus and train within those zones too.

The venue should be about a ten minute walk from Victoria and about ten feet from St James Park tube station. The tube does indeed run until around 12.30 but there will be no shortage of buses and taxis from Victoria station.

Soma, Rakujitsu, and myself will be in town for a week. I'm hoping to stay in a hotel that's somewhat centrally located in London. If that coincides with somewhere that other atendees are staying, that'd be great.

Its not cheap, but no hotels I could find for two nights were less than £85 anyway.
