The grand Tryker escape take one
Hello all,
Sunday October, 10th, 4pm GMT / 5pm CET we (the Trykers) all are going to try to escape our chosen prison.
Our guild Evolution will try to coordinate this as much as possible.
I suggest to try this is several step.
Preperation:
1.) Everyone that doesn't have the spawn point in Lagoons of Loria yet should ask someone to help him get it so we can all get there easy and fast on sunday.
2.) Everybody please concentrate your leveling on magic and/or fighting till then so we have a little better chance then we have now.
The Tries:
(I am open for suggestions of stuff to try beside the things i came up with)
Matis:
1.) First try will be to cross the lower parts of Matis. I want to see if we are able to tackle one of the Torbaks at all or if we stand no chance. Due to the setup there its easy to create a nice wall to hide the mages behind so we might stand a chance. If we succeed with one we will continue killing more till we either get to the next area or hvae to admit defeat.
2.) Second try will be a wild storm through, I want to see if the mobs ifthey are agrod to one person will follow other persons that storm past. We will harvest DP's very quickly there. Maybe we manage to get at least half of all people through, maybe even more. Mages are free to cast fear/sleep/blind and see if those have any effect.
3.) Third try will be a more coordinated aproach of self sacrifices to lure mobs away and other people sneak past.
Bounty Beaches:
Since reaching Bounty Beaches takes a considerable amount of time after each death I am not sure if there is anything to try except to fight mobs we agro off while trying to sneak a large group past them.
In first open beta we got good result with that when everyone stayed together pretty much. But it requires us to fight mobs and we need at least 2-3 good healers to revive dead persons quickly so we can move on fast afterwards.

Hey don't crash the server with massive DP that goes beyond the set boundaries

No worries we had a little guild internal DP contest already. I can only get 480k atm. Pariana is in the lead with 870k. First to break the one mil mark gets a medal =)

Oh you're the ones causing the lag... Nevrax needs a super-calculator to keep track of your DP's ...

Since the last patch I have tried once more to reach the matis peoples, I want to prod them and make them say sorry for making us slaves in the early years!
I arrived at the spawn in the lagoons.... so far so good
I entered the mystic portal, which was bidding me to enter.
This part of the jounery went well.
Up the slight incline to where I knew a pack of cutters lurked.
They were still there but a little more dispersed.
They we busy dinning on Yelk, so I sneeked past.
on rounding the corner, about 2m in. The cutter who had now finished ravaging the yelk, had me for desert
= death 1
My deal with the Karavan allowed me to start again.
the second attempt to round the corner meet with similar nasty end.
= death 2
Hello Mr Karavan teleport man.
So this time I rounded the corner, the cutters were nicely grouped, so I was able to get right into the corner and no it was time to wait!

the seconds seem like hours, the minutes seemed like weeks......
my 15 mins patience was rewarded, I was able to reach the first junction.
I turned west, I knew there was water there... I was missing my lake land home already. I took a cool dip in the green murky waters, these were not as pure as the Tryker Lakes.
Time to press on.....
The passages turns north and there was more water. The gnoofs showed interest, but showed me no malice.
The passage opened up.... I had been here before on a previous attempt.... but how things had changed since the Great Loading (The last patch).
The once deserted outpost shell was no swarming with Knichers, I know these of old, my mother told me stories of how even some of here might friends had been laid to waste by just one of these beast!
But there was not just one, and I am not as powerful as she or here friends were, not even close!
There where 15+ of these great beasts, with a gigantic one directly in the center!!!! The small ones, if you could descible a house as small, were scurring at great pace. This way has been blocked! Unless these beasts return to the Roots from where they came, this part of the maze is a no go area.
So I back tracked to the junction and headed east!
under the stone bridge, I reach the dog-leg I knew I have to pass.
But a welcoming party was waiting.
Six tobak, stood before me..... I waited for many minutes, but the only chance to make a break, was when a Tobak was feeding!
I turned right it was my only choice, but I knew it was a dead end.
Dead end was the correct description!!!
= Death 3
So I gave up.
I have been told through the rumor mill that ALL lands have been diliberatly isolated!
So those who have teleport tickets, keep them safe...... you lucky people are now the only ones with the power to travel.
A disappointed Harvester, who loves to travel.
