Bandits in the pr gone mad?

Post by glynnj »

Is it just me or have the bandits in the pr gone mad?
ive been out of game for a couple of months and i rejoined today , went down there to find the bandits agro range has gone super.

Did i miss some plot reason?

I must admit PR digging was dangerous enough to be fun before, but my first impressions of this make it too hard to be fun.

Aggro range increased a while back, before latest patch. For example, the rattlers bandits going to shu in sunken city were dodged trivially before. Now, they can aggro easily.

It's not too bad for me, but there are some spots that seem unharvestable because they're in range. I just avoid those and am sure to make wide detours around the camps. I don't know when the range was increased or if there was a reason, they've been like that since I started digging PR.

It's not your imagination... it's pretty much been that way awhile now, I think it came in about the time they started running around instead of walking :P

I noticed this in scorched corridor. Needed three or four tries to exit TP/spawn. And try to hit them, well!!

Actually I have a suspicion that its not agro range increasing. It might be that that agro range has remained the same. However the little bit of lag from sever to client to update bandit position is more difficult to determine agro range now since they run. How aobut somone at Nevrax tell us if it is indeed.

1.) Agro range has increased.
2.) Running of NPCs has given people with higher pings more difficulty in avoiding agro. :p

dont think its either actually. Previously you could pick your moment very easily and run through when a tribe was all at a safe distance. now that they have amphetemines in their yubo juice its nigh on impossible as at least one will have sprinted over to you b4 u get clear. It seemed to me for ages that aggro ranged had increased but i'm not so sure at all now...

Show me where they state it has I'm stating there could be other possiblities. Or better yet why dont you inform us what the old agro range was in meters and what the new agro range is in meters. :p
