Every mission that every guild member does adds towards your guild fame. Guild fame is calculated based on the fame of all members of the guild. So when doing missions, you should take care which you do because you can affect other members of your guild.

Guild missions and guild xp are not in effect yet. According to the manual (which could be wrong now) You will get guild missions to build up guild xp in order to be able to buy the special features for guildhalls.
