Quick update: the issue currently under investigation lies with some of the rites which are tagged as 'non-working' (see http://www.ryzom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11017); they have disappeared from some characters' encyclopedia. If we reopened the shards now, you would have to redo the ritual tasks already completed if we were to reintroduce corrected versions of these rites in the future.

We are currently reviewing the patch to know precisely why this has happened and how we could fix it. I'll give you an update when there will be news.

Thanks for your patience in the meantime - it looks like we'll make an heavy use of the coffee machine this evening!

Do you need to close it to boot them rather than lock it?

only a few of us got in when it reloaded, it was locked very soon after cause there was an issue with ritual rites.

Those that are on the server now have already lost those rites that dissappeared, they will have to redo them. It is locked so no one else will come in and lose those rites, therefore keeping me from having to do them over. Of course i would rather be in there now and have to do them again.
