My apols if I misled you.

Foraging is boring and effort! Obviously not going to be everyone cup of tea, but I must say I find that I get into much more conversations with people when im hunting. If i didnt need those mats for my craft i wouldnt dig in the slightest.
I hate fighting. I readily and willingly admit to being a carebear, a coward and a very casual player. My highest Fight lvl is half my Foraging, lvl, my highest Magic about two-fifths. Crafting currently at two-thirds, but pushing that right now.
While foraging can be boring as heck, it is enough for me for all the reasons stated above in other posts.
I get to play. I get to craft. Through that I feel I do a small share of the obligations I accepted when entering my guild.
I get to chat and be social. And yes, I'm an utter and total, to the point of annoyance, chatterbox. But at times I'm just tempted to copy-paste our late-night guild chats into a forum post here and have everyone share in the laughter.
I look forward to every stat increase, every new QL level, every new stanza that allows me to pull more mats. I sometimes by a hairs width avoid explosions or gas attacks or pesky patrolling nasties. I celebrate each and every of these steps.
I've been around since OB1. I've survived the desolation of Chapter 1, the death of my first guild and several very chaotic kitin invasions. All through slow, steadfast, sometimes boring, sometimes exciting digging.
I think I'll be here until they switch off the server and I'll probably be on my knees somewhere digging in the dirt swinging a pick when they do it..

Thosam - Hunter of small defenseless animals, Forager near safe areas and Crafter of useless junk.
I hereby declare myself to be a Hominist. Ask me about my philosophy.
I survived Patch 1. I'm not so sure about Episode 2.

if you are real forager, you get to travel a lot, you search your own forage areas, you map is filled with landmarks, you can sneak everywhere and you dont care about dp..
.. and it gets better and better in every lvl (well.. every time you get new toys to play with

I know this guy, he is the slowest lvl'er I have ever seen, seems his guild attracts people like that.
hmmm, foraging can b different from person 2 person, mostly i dig 2 meet peeps and 2 have something 2 do when nothings happening.
But, i cant dig alon, it bcomes 2 boring, no one 2 talk 2 or anything.
Foraging is also relaxing. If u For example had a bad day or u r rly tired, theres nothing better then 2 equip ur pick and dig whit other pplz.
