mmatto wrote:That is part of outposts development. Rebalancing also helps to improve pvp events. Some of my long time gone friends said that Nevrax would be mad if they released outposts without rebancing game first and i must agree. Though, not releasing outposts or almost anything else is also madness as many months has passed since.
What? They need to rename a supervisor, change required stats for gems & armour. reduce heal values just to be able to bring in Outposts? I think not. Nor a lot of the other little tweaks either.

Why are you backing up the slow & incompetent devs in this game?

Nurfing heal is a baaaaaaaaad idea  I think its fine, its hard enough to get a healer as it is, and if you have 4 + members for a healer to heal they can have their work cut out for them. And yes a nuker does a lot of damage but they cant take that much of a beating. Melee dishes less damage but can happily get smacked in the face a fair few times. Games are suposed to be 'fun' and nurfing heal is only going to make a healers and the rest of their teams life more difficult than it needs to be.

*grind grind grind grind*

I remember when heal was boosted after patch 1, the best thing since sliced bread, it no longer took 50 heals to rez some one! :D

We are coming up to the first year run and what have we really had content wise? Mounts, Haircuts, Tattoos. Thats pretty crumby for a game that promised a major content patch every month!

Note for Devs: LEAVE HEAL ALONE, ADD MORE CONTENT.

Quite frankly, almost all of those will improve pvp. Are they only options for that goal? Definitely not. Are they right choises for that goal? Nobody knows. Is the pvp/ooutpost right goal? Don't know but those has been demanded loudly by many customers for long time.

I am not backing anybody up, calm down. You could not possibly draw that conclusion if you read my whole post.

However, I can easily back up many of Nevrax's ideas and intentions. Many of those seem well thought out and improving game somewhat. Could they use their resources for something that helped game even more? Possibly.

I really don't like their speed of development and quality or quantity of released content. I don't like empty whines and accusations either.

Why to complain about something when you can see response to that in Q&A or some other article? If you don't like or accept their already released response, complain about that response. Otherwise, your complain won't get you anywhere and you will be pointed to old response. I am helping you here to flesh your complaint to a better one.

hmm, just a thought: what is the SoR equivalent of Santa Claus?

St. Jena and Ru'Dolph the Rednosed-Yubo?

Or would each land/culture have its own version?

I survived Patch 1. :) I'm not so sure about Episode 2.

Here is a top secret screenshot from ATS. It shows a new area of Tryker, the new item "hat" , the new UI and our beloved santa of Tryker.

I was intrigued with this from Second Life http://www.idealworldmovie.com/short/

I would like to see the crafting options improved. Even simple things like the colour or handle of a sword-blade, textured or shaded clothing, having you guild symbol on armour and shields.

Mmatto - thanks for your reply. Could I point you in the direction of the recent poll about PvP. I still assert that Nevrax are not paying attention to the paying customer. It does not help that people are backing the relatively inconsequential changes that Nevrax initiate. Are you saying that the Outposts could not be started without these changes? Also bear in mind the low support within the community for PvP.

While we show a divided front, Nevrax are the only benefactors. I don't believe that many (if any) customers believe they have received what this game promised almost a year ago. The majority of the criticism is positive. Our emphasis should be on the improvement of the gameplay not supporting minor changes (like adding weight to tp tickets) as, I feel, too many fellow players are doing. I have every sympathy with Nevrax. But they don't seem to have any sympathy with me or my fellow players. Most certainly no empathy despite reasons appearing in black & white.

Nevrax are making changes just to show they are doing something. Meanwhile we wonder when they will listen to us. This is the gripe I am putting forward - Nevrax either don't listen or just totally ignore player input. Whilst players continue to display support for the less than priority changes they can always argue that they are pleasing part of the community.

Are they really pleasing ANY part of the community with these minor, irrelevant changes?

I should have added to my above post - all I want for Christmas is an English to French dictionary and a pack of Johnson's cotton buds.

Happy Christmas.

The proposed combat/Magic changes please me enormously.

Most of the armour requirement changes also please me, but I still think medium armour needs a boost.
