Hey Rushin. I have just posted my following comment in the feedback posts but it could just as easily apply here: I wonder how many of our fellow characters are actually controlled by SoR dependants?

Might be very interestink, Ja!

Oh, I am sorry. My comment was directed to specific knowledge of Mull area.

Strange comment to make... Not really sure how it relates tbh, and I wouldn't push it either; most of the CSR get a little touchy about that kinda thing ;)

Well, Mull has endless supplies of all armor mat types, choice grade. By endless I mean that you can dig at one location a single mat type 24/7 without exhausting all sources and you can do that for every armor mat type. During correct season Mull has also some very good excel deposit for armor. All this addition to proximity of city guards, teleporter, stables, q250 mats merchant and lots of other foragers and hunters. As an example of the original argument, Mull usually has foragers who has been digging there for most of their career....

Dementia has lots of very good spots and that place is very underrated amongst jungle foragers (usually there is none). However, it is really not good example for digging at one spot for most of career as it ain't happening if you compare what is going on at Mull.

No you berk. It was some of the comments that appear in the forum giving support to the game that leaves me wondering. This was noticeable in the feedback page when some people said they were happy with the progress of the game. It was definitely NOT directed at you.

My apols if I misled you.

I compared Foraging is "fun" as compared to Foraging in other games such as EVE (pokes eye out), EQ2 (smashes head in), and GW (huh?).

I wasn't comparing it agains other form of skilling in SoR, oopsie!

There's a reason why some games have foraging as a skill, people just like to collect stuff, non-combat wise! e.g like fishing! It's weird. And SoR harvesting is a tad more complex and colorful than the norm (season, weather, day night, quality, civilization, prospecting, tracking, resource preservation, ground stability, type of mats, stats on mats, group of mats, minor and major, etc).

If you enjoy foraging in any game, then you would enjoy SoR foraging, more so, then say, UO click to dig foraging, or EVE fire up laser and go afk mining.

(eta: hmmm is it me or is the forum a tad bitter today? hmmmmmmmm
*licks forum* )
