The Last Tale chapter 3 The Mark

Post by legokid »

Well its done i have to post before i make it any longer.I would of loved to put the leaders names i couldn't find out who ruled at that time so bare with me.Anyway the sercect of Le'Sindo and Le'Sito power and ablitie to talk with the great goddess is beginning to reveal. This chapter is funny and has a weird twist.....Enjoy

They stared at the people in front of them. Minutes pasted till Sa’Binga blurted out “What in the name of Jena are you people.” La’Beka whispered to Sa’Binga with a jab in his side “You stupid crafter were here to make peace not start a war. “The other’s faces turned red as they wished to vanish into the fog. The cheif of the Zoria guard walk up, cleared his throat and said in a clam voice” Welcome to Min-Cho,you must be the Tryker that the Kami have been talking about. It’s a great honor that you are here, my grandma told me stories of your kind and the Tryker friends she made in the Nexus. Please follow me the council is waiting for your arrival,oh your packers can go stable ill have the stable boy take care of them. Now to the council we mustn’t keep them waiting.

As they walk toward a strange shape building with what looked like a huge ball of amber held up by vines,Le’Sita lightly jabbed his sister and whispered in her ear “I don’t like this, it feels like a trap, keep your dagger at the ready.” She nodded and walked on. They soon entered a great hall with plants and streams of water on the right and left. Then before they knew it they were in front of a long table with carvings of what looked like weird shaped yubos. They bowed with great courtesy and sat down.

One of they rose from her chair, she looked younger then the others .She had long flowing green hair which had many colorful beads. She wore a green robe that looked like it was made of moss or grass. “Welcome to our great city, please make your self at home. The Kami speak highly of all of you. They tell us that you’re on a quest to unite the races and learn what has happened since the Invasion. Well much has happened since the horrible time. We’re now just finishing our last outpost so we can watch over our land,Oh dear I’m rambling on, all of you must have many questions. Ask and we will try our best to answer.” She said in a sweet voice. The Trykers looked at each other and they all yelled at the same time,” Is that your face or a mask? What are the kami? Who is Ma-Duk? But before they could ask another question a Zoria in a red robe with gray hair rose his hand to quite the Tryker, then the room fell silent.

“These are mask not our faces, the kami gave these as gifts. The kami are the great creation of Ma-Duk the creator of all life on Atys. Ma-Duk is the great creator of life, the one who made us and sent the kami to teach and watch over us.” He said in a firm voice. La’Beka stood up and said in a firm voice “I’m sorry but did not create us; the great goddess Jena created us with all her love. She also sent her greatest followers the Karavan to guide us in the ways of Jena.” Shacking violently the chef stood up and sank his nails deep into the table. How dare you come to our council hall and speak of our god that way and say that…tha..that devil is the almighty creator!” he said with great rage. At this Le’Sinta stood up with orbs of great power forming around his amps. “I will not sit here and listen to you insult our goddess, yes the kami taught us magic but the karavan taught us stronger spells and ways to fight. They also taught us more about Jena. When we were growing up the karavan taught us. He said in voice that scared the other. They’ve never seen Le’Sinta like this not even his sister. You foolish Tryker none of you are even adults yet. The chef yelled. “We may be young but we know where our trust lays. We came here looking for a group to join us but I can see the kami have clouded your mind. “He said in a dark voice that even made the leaders tremble. Le’Sinta was unaware of the orbs where sending out different types of energy. The orb on his left was sending out shockwaves while the other was sending out electricity. Another stood”you have no idea what power the kami have.” She with a strong voice,” I think I do” he yell in a very dark voice. Le’Sindo sensed a strong energy, she turn and saw her brother floating. This sight caused her to stumble off the bench. “You want power ill show you power.” He yelled as he shot the orbs right at the leaders. They duck just in time; the orbs destroyed the table, shattered two pillars and scorched the wall. When the dust cleared everyone look at the damage. Then in the corner of their eyes they saw Le’Sinta and Le’Sindo had fainted. Everyone ran over to them when the Zoria stopped in shock when he saw glowing marks on both of their hands.

They carried them to rooms where a zoria healer gave them a greenish drink that smelled like wet winterberries. The Mino-Cho guard chief came up to them, “The leaders have sent a kami to get your leaders. We can see that our views on life are completely different and we need to make a peace treaty.” He said in a clam voice.” We almost started a war and what Le’Sinta did!” Ga’Lorda yelled with tears in his eyes. Then the woman from the council walk in,” A war no, but a new beginning for our races. Your friend showed us that our way may always be the same but we can’t let belief get in the way of peace. As the chief said we sent a kami to get your leaders so peace can be made. But before I tell you about your friends let me introduce myself. I am the zoria head healers I watch over the training of all healer, I am know as a Master of Life. Now your friends have a mark that is written in ancient scrolls. It is know as the mark of the Goddess of Element. We never believed it because it was written by the karavan. So we sent for the karvan to look at your friends. Now I suggest you all go to sleep we will sort this out in the morning good night young trykers.” She said in the sweetest voice.

“Where are we sis?” Le’Sinta said. “I don’t know but look at our hands they have a strange mark on them.” Le’Sindo said while holding her brother close. ”I gave you two those marks because you are the chose ones. You two were born on a night when an elemental star shines. That when I saw you two and I decided to give you the marks.” The voice said in a sweet voice. “What do they mean?” the two yelled. They mean that you Le’Sinta are the tryker of wind and Le’Sido you’re the tryker of water. Now you shall be known as Windra and Aqua by me and all of the karavan. There are two others but they are Matis, you will meet them soon.” The voice said. The two stared at each other and yelled “Jena!” Your quick to the point, as we speak your friends are learning the something and your leaders are signing the peace treaty. Well done young one you made peace with the Zoria and you learn that you two are the chosen ones. With your and the others help we can save Atys. Now sleep young ones.” Jena said with love in her voice.

Late that night Ga’Lorda stood under an arch thinking of what the karavan officers said about his friends. He kept running that same thought through his head.” Your friends are the great goddess mages. They now wear the mark; Le’Sinta wears the mark of wind, so he shall be known to us as Windra. His sister Le’Sindo is the Aqua the mage of water.” The thought was soon stopped by a rustle of leafs. He quickly turned daggers at the ready and saw the tryker leaders walking down the road. Behind them was a small extremely fury animal with little white eyes. He had a feeling it was a kami. He quickly bowed to his leaders and showed them to the council hall were the treaty will be signed.

The night was dark and rainy, every minute or two lighting would steak across the sky. La’Beka and Be’Cona were bored out of their minds. Le’Sinta and Le’Sindo were still unconsis and Ga’Lorda and Sa’Binga were at a bar getting drunk.” Bet you five sap crystals that those two will pass out the second they enter the room”Be’Cona said laying five sap crystals on the table.” Deal……..but I like making bets in card games. Let’s play Five Gem Yubo. La’Beka said laying a stack of card on the table, with a huge grin on his face.” Did you fix the cards….and would you stop balancing your dagger on your hand?” Be’Cona said looking over the set of cards. La’Beka put the dagger back in its sheaf and laid out the cards. Five hours past when Ga’Lorda and Sa’Binga burst through the door humming.” I’ve never seen…anyone drink…hick….that much zoria rum… hick. ”Sa’Binga laughed before he fainted on the couch. Ga’Lorda laughed then fell into a deep sleep in a chair. La’Beka and Be’Cona looked at each other and laughed so hard their sides started to hurt. They soon pasted out in their chairs.
