It is and I think the Samarsa (sic?) charging for rezes fits into the RP type of motivation very well.

However the Omega+Infinity+Cara Via +Masters of Life allience has clouded their greed with such comments stating that large guilds need the best mats more then other people for their members. Now If this was truly the case then i'm sure they wouldnt be selling supreme equipment for very high profits. I'm sure there would be no supreme mules and I'm sure everyone can see through the rhetoric if they take a second and think about it. But just in case your distracted here's a hint: they do sell supreme gear for high profit..they must have a surplus of supreme gear avialble.

Just to clarify, again...

Cara Via is not allied with Infinity, OmegaV, or the Masters of Life. Some of our guild members are friends with some members of these guilds. However, alliances with Cara Via are only formed after a majority vote by our members.

Because Infinity is a Kami guild, they would not come under our consideration for an alliance. Our allies are other Karavan aligned guilds that we play with regularly and have close ties with.

The fact that one of our members teamed with some old friends in what was apparently a very spontaneous and very non-rp pickup battle does not change that alignment for us, nor did it cause either Infinity or OmegaV to ally with us.

Cara Via's leaders and officers have never been approached by any of these guilds with an alliance proposal. Even if we were interested in such a relationship, which I assure you we are not, they have given no indication that they are.

As for the statement re "that large guilds need the best mats more then other people for their members" - Cara Via is not a large guild, nor is it a high level guild. Most of our 10 or so active members are in fact under 200 in level, and many are just now reaching level 150 in combat skills. Also, we as a group do not condone such an attitude. In fact, our highest level PR digger, Loracas, will not even dig near someone else if they were on the source first, unless specifically invited to share it. As far as I know, most of us in Cara Via have chosen to follow that policy as well, especially where excellent or supreme mats are concerned.

I'm greedy but in a nice way -

1.) I've never killed someone digging supremes to get them.
2.) If someone else is digging supreme I'll move on to the next source (unless its someone who has not offered the same courtesy ).

Ok thats the second time you've stated this was a Spontaneous and pickup battle.

1. It was not a pickup battle mostly on the omega, infinity, + friends side. They had stated this intent clearly on the forums. Actually if it was a pickup battle I would say it was the people who grouped together to fight off the bullies.

2. The intent was very clear and the fact that it happend after a reboot should clarify things for you. Reboot = All supreme nodes refilled. I'm pretty sure it was planned (maybe quickly planned but still planned). This was not a spontaneous oh lets pvp. This was a battle for mats period.

Edit: The only good thing of the battle was it seemed to be done "with manners" from what i've read. [Manners Duels a term from diablo ]

Only added PvP because ronin was already taken and had to keep roninpvp to get my 1.) named reserved from beta 2.) FBT emote. I was a huge pvper in other games. That was of course games that PvP worked and required at least a little skill. I was also a huge RTS player. Ganking is not pvp. I do not like people who PK I do however enjoy mannered dueling. Diablo example: fighitng using full absorb gear versus a sorcie is not fair or mannered. Fighting a sorcie in hell mode is stupid and bad manners on the sorcie's side if they made the game for the duel. The only time's I would PK was in declared open war against my clan back in those long ago days. Then obviously I would hunt them down. I've dueled in Hardcore and Softcore and event hat ancient game has better 1v1 pvp.

Summation: PvP is not PK

Last I checked we sell to anyone willing to purchase.... trading for mats.... CPing... whatever anyone's willing to trade that can't dig 250 roots and craft 250 weps and amps.

I afflicted a bit... well... enough... uhm.. quite a bit actually... make it a lot... spaaaaamed afflictions, ... stun, fear and blind, blind, fear and stun, fear, blind and stun, blind, stun and fear.. .. and stun.

And rundll na d bloodbath were running around meleeing. But o'course... 95% of the spells were heal and nuke
