I love this game and its probably the best online game i have played, but now i am getting annoyed.
Tonight we waited 4 hours for the game to be patched, and we all hoped for the lag to be addressed as well as the game improvements to be implemented.
But the Bloody lag is still there and is really begining to get on my nerves.
Its not just in the city, but also out in the country, where there is hardly anything around.
Please please please Devs, when are you going to sort this out !!

Yes, Lag is still an issue. Very Frequent disconnects and game crashes due to lost connections here.clemence wrote:I dont feel any lag no more, do you?
I love this game, I hope it gets fixed soon, but I do not think I can continue past the free month. No way I will pay for this now. I have spent more time troubleshooting my PC and testing driver combos than in any other game. I can HOST FPS Game servers from this computer, I can play Farcry on Max Video settings and it is beautiful! All I would like to see out of this game is a fair shake at playing it for more than a few minutes before relaunching only to find my CHAR dead again....

Talked to a gm today in the morning and he mentioned that there is no lag in Fyros.
Well, I am Tryker, and Tryker land is horrible, lag, rubberbanding. So there may even be a Tryker only issue atm. even though i really doubt that.
All you can do atm. keep sending Technical Support tickets, so that the staff can forward it to the devs.

If the rubberbanding can be traced to bad interactions with graphics cards or firewalls or whatever then I am happy to install a fix. However, it is insufficient for one or two people to point out that they have no lag while the majority of people are saying the opposite. There is clearly a problem and denying it glibly is not the answer.
There is lag. Clearly the problem is not fixed and the origin untraced?
Sony Online Entertainment did this, they tried to blame lag on the users and it was outrageous, please do not let this happen here. If there is a problem with the game interacting with user hardware or something then the developers need to provide a fix, suggest and course of action to take, or they need to fix the game so it interacts properly.
You must not, and cannot be allowed to blame the customer for degradation of quality of a product. The onus in this matter rests on the provider. The customers are willing to go that extra step and that should be seen as a positive contribution.

I have no lag at all ingame... you sure you're talking about lag (that is, internet lag), and not some kind of hardware lag (like having way too high graphical options, causing too low fps, and making "lag" when you need to load new things?), cause I really have no lag at all .
You can try lowering graphical options, or disabling microvegetation, or shadows or clouds... see if that helps with the "lag", unless you'r sure it's real lag.
But again... I have no lag at all... ? .

Still quite a lot of lag - but nowhere near as bad as it was
It is indeed server-side "lag" - the rubber-banding (by far the worst feature) is caused by re-synchronisation errors and mostly occurs when moving from one server to another.
The "Waiting" window appears as the client polls the server and seems to pop up every few minute regardless - so again is server side.
My gut feeling is that this is all down to synchronisation rather than the server actually running slowly - I've had some spectacular sync errors when running around confined spaces (i.e. guildhall).
Most of the time the response is pretty snappy - I just get bursts of sudden inactivity lasting a few seconds (seems like a long time in combat!), so like I said, my money is on synchronisation errors................

Hi guys
Just a quick posting to let you know our technical staff has passed this on to the developers. We do not have any information yet, but once we do I'll let you know.
