I was somewhat upset by the nerfing, because it seemed they weren't caring about how to explain it in-character. Like, suddenly, healing is half as powerful. Why!??!?

So I decided it's the goo. Somehow the goo is interfering with sap and causing magic to become less powerful.

Now I'm not upset.

I smuggled weapons for a few weeks, guilds were paying several hundred thousand for q100 items.

Of who I started with on tryker island only aelvana remains and she was gone for like 7 months, and thats a big deal cause there were like 100+ people when I was there.
yah, the contact window that never has anyone on it is kinda depressing.

A better way would be saying that the extra HP that a person would normaly get is instead leeched by their more powerful armor (remember the better protection we are supposed to get, not to mention better resists or something like that?) That would also explain why the LA and jewels now need stat requirements. Unless you have a stat at a certain point, the magical equivalent of HA(the jewelry and LA) is TOO heavy. Not enough magic to fuel the protection, or enough focus to properly controll it. Sounds better than just blameing it on the goo, don't you think?

I blame Jena.

It is quite logical, actually.

Umm, I'm still here. I did take 6 weeks off late 2004 but was on Sept/Oct/Dec and this year. Aelvana was in my guild Tryker Black Company until she left for CP (not even going to try spelling it). TBC disintegrated not long after but thats another story.

But otherwise I don't know of any Tryker players that were on since retail started. I don't even know you Amitst cause you don't use a signature and i've never seen an Amitst running around IG. So there may be a few more oldies than we think.

I suspect there may be more old Trykers from the EE server though.

LOL! Maril? You and Fluffy*insert annoying name here*?

Man! Now that *was* a long time ago. Best not go into what happened there or you'll really have a reason to dislike me. :(

Heh, heh, that was like October last year. :)
