Guys have a quick ques for u....i'm still chillin out at the island but i wanted to know where i can buy better mage amplifying gloves....mine are still refugee class and i cant find any ppl here selling them....am i suppose to craft new ones?

Amps are available at the 2h melee merchant (the one with the big sword). You might want to invest in player made amps, since they have better stats, being usually made from choice materials. However it does happen that the merchants are 'empty' from such amps, in which case the only amps available are NPC amps.
As for starting to craft them... that's up to you .

That I can tell you (didn't spent all those days and DP figuring out the exp equation for nothing); the exp drops to 0 for creatures 50 levels below you.

And with thanks to Berrule: the craft exp drops to 0 for crafting items 25 levels below you, and the forage exp for foraging mats about 40 levels below you. So it's impossible to reach level 80 with only level 20 creatures and mats at your disposal.

As far as I'm aware crafting xp actuly doesn't drop to 0 at all (at least not for the 2h swords I do, may be different with earrings or other things)

Hmm, on second thought you're probably right, if I recall those equations were quite accurate for crafting and foraging at your level but not meant for such small numbers.

I've got a lv49 crafter on island and still get plenty of xp for q20 stuff. Digging is more of an issue only getting 350xp or so a pull now

There are q50 mission mats on all the starter islands, but as i dig to craft i havent bothered with them as its all painfully slow at low levels

When I was on the Starter Island I saw many places that said there were Q 50 Mission mats on every starter island. But I prospected Every Place i could find around 3 of the towns on Fyros Island and never once found ANY mission Mats. Is it just based on my horribly inexaustive amount of Bad Luck??

thing is they are really hard to find when u have range 1/2 and angle 1/2 My digger often has trouble finding her own feet. I remember when i was there first time around, i had a digging mission for something, and even with explict directions i never managed to find the mats in 2 weeks of trying

For any would be foragers I would sincerly advise not worrying about the missions, even at lv100 it can be a chore to find the mission mats. Best to wait until later and take them on the mainland (with the help of the lovely BM site if needed)

I was happily slaughtering all the creeps on the newbie island except for the winny kipee....i'm currently lvl 29 and decided to go to the mainland....where i get killed by everything over there...

CAn u pls give me a list of mobs which i can take on and gives me good xp as well...really would appreciate it thx
