There are plenty of slots for a new avi. All of mine filled with characters of various skills and skill levels. But why on earth would I want my main avi wiped after putting so much time into her?

iv only been playing for over 2 months now and the thought of starting over sends a cold shiver down my spine and i hate to think what it would do to the long term beta players who have spent a very very long time getting where they are today. i really dont see the need for a reset to be honest.

I was thinking about this situation too. I wondered if at the start of outposts all fighting skills be reset to lvl 101, newbies as well. Basically the PvP skills would be equalised. That would include all magics too.

Crafters/foragers could retain their levels (since they would prob be fighting most of the time anyway) and they might be needed to supply items for the outpost guards.

Do you think that would be more acceptable or is might, right.

What ever ya reset it to the Harcore grinders would still out lvl ya in a few weeks. If we had a reset i wouldnt leave, i would Sue

what you are asking, is to instantly be as powerful as people who have devoted most of the last year to playing this game. Now Im opposed to PvP partially because the level differentials remove any pretence of it being a fair fight, but to destroy everyones character "to make it fair for PvP" is the kind of selfish lack of consideration..... that we have come to expect from PvP proponents. Sorry, that was probably excessive - but Im going to leave it in anyway.

I have developed my main char to the point she can survive in red zones, and win ambushes in purple. not for PvP, but to explore and experience the world of Atys.

as so many people have pointed out, if you want to start at the beginning again, you have five character slots. Wanting to drag other people back to the start again...my first sentence says it.

I guess you dont realize the pain of leveling many skills to Master in digging/crafting.
