Welcome !
Indeed, there's only an english speaking server, no asian server. However, I don't think the lag is too bad (I know there's another player in Seoul, and one in India).
Please feel free to ask any kind of questions, and don't forget to read up on the questions asked by other newcomers in this thread. But yes, we'll be more than happy to provide you with any help possible.
And don't forget, starter islands are a bit lonely, but there's more of us on the mainland.

See you soon in Atys ;) .

Welcome, enjoy the game.

Since i know where Malaisia is, i can tell you that there are players from australia. Never heard about too much lag on Arispotle.

I'm beginning to luv this community already.....

Just a few quick questions:
1.How long should i hang out in the newbie island i mean in terms of lvl etc

2.Does the gameplay really change a lot if i join the guilds early on besides getting a vault of knowledge from the vets....

Tats it for now thx

As long as you like :p Some people have different ideas about it, but generally speaking the "original" idea was at about lvl30 but you can come across to mainland as soon as you like; there's plenty of low lvl stuff around the capitals to play with ;) The islands just give you a relatively large, low level area to play about in and get used to how the game plays without any "big" nasties ;)

That depends on you and the guild you join. Technically speaking there's no reason why the game would play differently because you can still team and everything else when you're not in a guild. Basically the guild will just give you easier access to teammates and advice, and they'll probably give you free stuff too :p

Well, lvl 30 is going to be very boring to hit on the island, as there are no mobs over lvl 21 to fight or materials higher than that to dig. I don't see that lvl being necessary.

I'd just leave whenever you feel comfortable with the game mechanics, of course taking some to try all four skill branches.

Hmmm, I'm not sure why no one is responding to your chat. Usually palyers are talkative and I've had GM's and guides start converstions with me even if I haven't said anything.

If around chat is quiet, say hello on the region tab. May be some people farther away who would like to chat. Can use the /who command to see what players are in your region at the moment.

Yeah, I want one of those staffs too :D
Can't get exactly those, but there are some cool glowy and sparkly weapons available ;)

Hope you're having fun!
