Answer:

So the game continues to be fun and inviting for the majority of the populas who does not enjoy ganking and greifing. The rest of you post is based on that flawed initial statement so i will not reply to it.

If a game gets down to the point where nobody trusts anyone else, and we're all on our guard waiting to be attacked.... .well, like someone said earlier. Go play Lineage 2. Ryzom has PvP, and PvP can be good. (When both parites involved are up for it.) But griefing and ganking is what it looks to be leading to.


And BTW thankyou Blondy for the warning. Kye was already on my list of griefers, but I will take extra note of him and his partner in the future.

IHMO, just because you CAN do something, does not mean that it is good or right. Yes, when entereing PR you get a warning about PvP. Yes I can walk up to anybody and nuke the snot out of them. But is what I'm doing helping anyone and anything? No, for the most part, it is completely destructive and demoralizing. Yes the Ganker may get a quick thrill and say to himself, "I killed someone who wasn't expecting an attack!! Yeah, I'm the man!"

But the consequenzes of that action are that the person killed has a foul taste for the Ganker, and possibly PR, and even further, the game. If this behavior is continued and becomes consistent all over, it WILL drive many of the players from the game. And with no players, there is no game.

So, for you ppl who enjoy ganking people in PR, by sneaking up on them unawares and taking advantage of their trust (they can see you on radar, and dont attack you becacuse they trust you will do the same) go ruin another game. Thats how I feel anyway.

Yes, I agree there is a reason for it being a PvP zone. But what you've done, is not that reason.

You are missing the entire point of what we are saying. This behavior will ruin the game. Nobody said you CAN'T PK and gank and grief... you guys do it all the time, so we all know that you CAN. But we are saying that you SHOULDN'T. Geeze.

PvP in context can be good and fun. But Ganking and griefing is not PvP, nor fun nor productive. It will drive ppl from the game. Its immature and childish behavior.

PvP should be both parties willing and ready to fight each other.
