Server up or down? & why now? hmm

just me or is the server showing as online but after completing the patch and relaunching i get "the Shard isnt Open" ?

Just nod if it the same for joo.

Also unless im missing something and granted i been playing all but 2 days but we are on a european Server so why are they patching in the evenings at prime time ?? , i appreciate other euro contries time zones differ with a hour or so less or more but why ><
