Fishing could have meaning in SoR, just another branch of the harvest tree. See, what you do is, you take your pick, then you whack the fish upside the head with it.

Fish provide mats to craft with.

Okay, it would be a nice touch to have some "flawor" skills here and there thrown into the mix. Just for fun. Right you are.
But at the Moment I think the poor devs at Nevrax HQ have more important things to do then thinking about how it looks like if say, a Matis went climbing up a tree or, a Fyros would lounge in a Beach-Chair sipping his Dayquiris.

Some day in a far, far future there will be "Fun Stuff" in this Game. Some day when all other IMPORTANT Issues are fixed and implemented and the Devs have too much time on their hands and are able to finaly realx a little.
