If they didn't respond to our petition about patch 1 then why does anyone think they will respond to this petition?

This is not a democracy (not that i wish it was)

Wow, that post tells a sad story. The number of users now in the 'Inactive Users' group is staggering :(

Patch one wasn't repealed, but it was modified back to sanity, in no small part (it would seem) due to the protests and points people put forward.

What we've ended up with is superior (IMO) to pre patch 1.

Because I think it would be rude to post it in the thread where your just supposed to be signing, its a separate topic,


on a side note, yes they did repeal...slightly, but it took them about 4-5 months to get melee back to sanity, i think there was a mod damage decrease patch in ?march? that finally sorta leveled the playing field

i still get a little angry that a spawn of hard kipee can take down a lvl 200 fighter if they dont use circle

i like prepatch 1 melee specifically for one reason only
when you get to 250 melee, prepatch 1 you are almost invincible to melee attacks by <level 220 or so, i think characters should be able to reach that level of power, as it is now no matter how hard you try, or how strong you become, there will be tons of places youll never be able to go without an army

also - can someone please define fanboi - i am terrible at writing clear definitions

its kinda the same problem that american politics is stuck in

i think it would help the fanbois out there think for themselves a little

oh and not to confuse my stance towards doubletap

i read his guides even before release, i think he has contributed an amazing amount to this game. he probably has kept many people playing who might otherwise have not

does ryzom have customer loyalty, just Corval's dream, or what?

if the devs play this game to... then why dont they experiment as guides a bit?
i would pay extra to talk to someone that didnt have their hands tied, and after whats happened to double tap it makes me scared to complain

I can't remember any major changes to melee since I started at November (if you don't count mob melee attack frenzy bug ;)

I must say that _personally_ I like current way much better. Prepatch 1 sounds like that you must grind to 250 to do any PvP at all as you can't counter lower lvl with greater numbers. Also, I like the fact that characters won't be gods at lvl 250. It sounds nice first, but I suspect it would be _major_ boredom when one melee level is at 250.

thanks basic

i was specifically pointing to the sycophantic nature of such creatures

and to mikos, there was a big mob damage reduction somewhere around march if you missed it, many of the carnivores literally had their damage halved, i first noticed it on ocyx the day it happened
