I have been actively doing rites with my guild for the last few weeks. To my dismay out of 35 rites I think maybe 5-6 can be completed. So could a Dev or any other person in the know give out some info on how many are actively working? How many there are in total with non-working rites included, as well as when the broken rites may become working?

I think there are 12 working. Made them all so far, but not sure about exact number (need to check ingame). Another 90 coming™ soon™.

Ive got 41 active in my Encyclopedia (12 of which are completable includng the final Rite Task) , afaik theres another 7 out there for me to find although they maybe deactivated (I did have all the sub missions for The Geography of Atys: WoM but that has been removed from my Encyclopedia -deactivated atm) , so thats maybe 49 in total (including WoM)

There is lots of prequisite entries that can be found but there is no final rite. These were introduced as teasers long time ago but due to spring clean etc Nevrax has not been able to introduce new ones at planned schedule.

Fully implemented rites should show rite giver and other prequisites in encyclopedia when any of the prequisites is completed. I am not fully sure about that because I talked first to rite giver that told me all prequisites.

Anyways, update to rite status could be a good topic for executive producer letter.

If someone could please either send me a tell or drop me some mail if you get the chance in game I'd really appreciate it. I am about ready to pull hair out over these things and just want to know which can be finished. I'm at 37 now and still lost at where to go from here. My name in game is the same as it is here in the forums if you could spare the time I'd really appreciate it and I might have rites stuff that could help you out too.


Your right mmatto I think that some info given from the Devs would be really nice. Most I see is "soon" or "working on it" yet time keeps ticking on down the less players road.

You can check this site too http://www.ballisticmystix.com/encyclopedia.jsp It shows pretty well all rites that can be accomplished. I don't think that ragus rite can be done yet, although it listed with full information. I send pm about working list.

incomplete list as not ingame currently but speak to:

barman Pyr, Yrk, Fairhaven, Zora
Interdent Zora, Hoi Cho, Fairhaven, Yrk

err, and others i forget but basically its the barman, sage, guard captain and interdent npc's who will give rites. oh and tribe chief's at some point in the future. You need 34 or 36 global fame to be given them.
