I thought this event was a lot of fun.
The Kami players really hit above thier wieght, employing the carnivores in the area and protection auras to thier greatest effect.
I don't think it is unresonable to say that the Karavan team won simply due to greater numbers. Although I am happy we won, I hope that in the future we are a more agile and coherent team.
One thing that must be addressed before this sort of thing happens again: the PVP free zones near the TPs need to be removed. It causes confusion on who we can heal and attack, and it provides shelter to the enemy players if they manage to reach the zone and use invulnerability. Once they leave the zone with the hostage, they have 30 seconds of speed running in which they can not be hurt by other players. I think this is a clever use of a game mechanic, but I also think it needs to be removed in the next PR PVP event.

The first round was reasonably evened out. In fact, I believed the Kami side had much firepower. As for the second round, yeah...kami side was outnumbered. lol It was a pity. Had it remained the same or increased, it really would have been much longer (Partially due to the fact, many wanted to cause more havoc than capture the hostage. lol).
