Foraging in Persistent Outlands

What would make having a supreme node spot fair in a persistent outland?

If such things were only allowed in a public outland, not a reserved or private one.

If CSR's and devs reviewed the maps before the outland was activated, for balance and difficulty issues.

If CSR's and/or devs enforced a policy that the areas must be either pvp-enabled or guarded by agressive mobs to provide an equivalent challenge to that found in harvesting supreme mats in the main areas of the game.

Well yeah all is fine if the devs and CSRs can hack and slash any player made map, however, this would get on many peoples nerves, specifically the more talented map developers, in my opinion.

Ryzom ring could be great if there were some written rules, and the lands were subject to approval or rejection. I hope thats clear - any artist will tell you how once they are happy with something they don't want anyone making changes.
So I'm aiming at what rules would be a good idea.

Well, personally I plan to use the persistant outlands to take over the world, cause, I will obviously be able to do that as part of the outlands design right?

On a more serious note, unless you have specific information to base your claims on and can cite that information, these silly conjectures are kinda pointless and drop the signal to noise ration to a dull aching static. We can discuss the what ifs and oh-nos all day and not get a single thing right about our guesses. Why not just wait till more info becomes available, eh?
