I had a question about this. How can one create an aging rate that will keep everyone happy? Some people seem disappointed that in less than a year their characters haven't aged already, had grandchildren, been carted off to assisted living, ... etc. ( or perhaps they only wish that the lvl 250 powergamers above them had grown enfeebled?) Jeez, it's only been a year. I, for one, have had enough of aging, and want my character to grow younger!

But seriously, how well would Atys work if players aged at different rates? Could one choose the rate? If they age at the same rate, casual players could be disadvantaged - they come back after a week to find their character has gotten arthritis? Hmmm.
